Recently visited this store during a trip to North Wales.. I required a new pair of hiking boots, I approached a staff member called Tyler, his customer service amd people skills were outstanding, along with his knowledge of the products and what suits the local area.

I can not thank him enough for helping choose the right boot for me.

1st class service

Went to buy a coat and couldn’t see the right size. There was an extremely helpful and friendly sales assistant who went and found the item required.

I come here whenever I need walking or outdoor bits & bobs. It has great parking & the feel of an independent store. The staff are all extremely friendly, helpful & knowledgeable.
Prices are competitive too.

Popped into store today after old walking boots leaked in mid hike so had very wet feet. Phil came over after picking 3 different boots and gave his opinions on each boot to a high standard. After picking my boots he then showed how to correctly lace and care for mine and my partners boots with Nikwax collection

Can’t thank Phil enough for the time,effort and care he took with us today. He’s an absolute credit to the store with his knowledge

I have used this shop on a number of occasions and I have always been very satisfied with the service. Today I had the pleasure of being helped by three members of staff. The first was just fine, the second dispensed the required information a little like he may have been giving a quick lesson in what waterproof means and pointed out that these are the jackets we have, take it or leave it. The third person behaved as if he has been trained by the second person I spoke with and excelled in that level of customer service.

Phil was extremely knowledgeable and thoughtful when helping us find the right thing for the job when they were out of stock of what we originally wanted to buy. He found us a lovely tent and also showed us how to set it up well. He was extremely patient and happy to help with any queries that we had. One of the most welcoming shops that I’ve been it for a long time. A most pleasant shopping experience.

Location of shop suits an easy shopping experience , large car park , helpful and familiar staff , very easy store to browse and buy from . I have never been there when it has been too busy and uncomfortable just always pleasant . Our preferred place to try and buy with willing and expert help .

Dewi served us today when we were looking for a sleeping mat. He was friendly, informative, very patient and keen to demonstrate our options.

Our experience was amazing! Tyler gave us plenty of unrushed time, sharing his expertise of the product and being very honest. Couldn't have asked for someone more helpful! Service was great and I am excited to use it products... Thank you!

Spoke with Tyler, absolutely amazing person, very detailed, very informative and really polite. Explained and went above and beyond to find us what we needed as the tent we bought from somewhere else has broken on first use on the first day of camping so we had to go and buy a new tent. He didint make us feel like we were wasting his time and took his time explaining everything. Tyler even called us back with informative he said he would provide as he was off ill when we returned to the store to speak with him so he called us on his return. Very pleased with the service we was given. Highly recommend go outdoors and Highly recommend speaking with Tyler. A side note all staff in there was polite when spoken to.

Went in at the weekend with the fam. Store was absolutely booming but the staff were relaxed and found the time to help everyone who needed it. Big shoutout to Tyler who helped me at the till- was struggling to get signal to access my blue light card but he helped me get it sorted. Really great staff!
