Exceptionally helpful staff on shop floor and till even though they hadn't got what I wanted in store. Full of useful advice. Was able to order product online but did have to purchase a new membership as it would not connect to make purchase but even with £5 membership fee still saved £52

Everyone we spoke to in store today, including Simran who served us at the till, was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

Great customer service received! I feel that GoOutdoors staff are always approachable and helpful. I visited the store on 20th feb for a quick swap of items and we were served by Sabrina who was polite and friendly. Thank you for your service.

Visit to Wolverhampton store was successful staff were helpful. Even though the store was under going major change. The staff member I spoke to (Sabrina) was able to direct me to the item I required and made the purchase really easy.

My friend and I bought walking boots, socks, gaiters and other items today.
We received a great deal of help from a staff member called Jo. He was polite knowledgeable, helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
If only every member of staff in all shops were this good.

We received a pleasant welcome at the entrance door.
We were helped to choose walking shoes. The female member of staff gave her full attention to us, brought us numerous pairs at our request to try on. She also brought alternative colour choices where possible.
We received very good customer service from Sabrina on the till.
Our visit took place on Monday 16th February 2026.

Above and beyond, yet again!
Having been recently to Go Outdoors in Wton, the boots that i had previously bought did not feel fully comfortable when i tried them on again at home. Basically it is because of my slightly broad foot and they would not accommodate walking socks.
Anyway, took them back with all tags in place and both Ann-marie and Jo went out of there way to fit me out with upgraded boots and I was so impressed that I bought an extra pair which Jo priced matched for me to make sure that I had the best deal. Can't say fairer than that. Excellent Service, Thank You both.

Staff were very friendly and helpful today during our visit. Ashley was polite, knowledgeable and provided clear useful information to include guidance relating to our membership which was due to expire.

Massive variety of good with range of items through the price brackets so easy to get something no matter the budget. The staff are very friendly and are always around to help and advise. Spoke with at least 3 staff today all genuine and friendly. Didn't get names other than Sabrina who served me at the tills.

Ordered 2 coats to store, had to pay upfront. Had a refund on the one the same day I picked them up. Returned the other one a week later. Staff said they were having trouble with the till so will have to initiate the refund with PayPal through the tablet. She gave me a written receipt and assured me I would receive the refund in 3-5 working days. Never received it. Returned to the store where they said I would have to call customer service(said they weren't able to do this for me!) Rang there and then. He asked for a picture of the receipt as he said there had been no return made. He then assured me that he had started the return and I would receive it in 3-5 days. NO REFUND!! I had to raise a case with PayPal to get my refund, which I have just received. PayPal said go outdoors didn't respond to their complaint.
ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING COMPANY!!!!! DONT ORDER INTO STORE AND PAY BEFOREHAND OTHERWISE YOU WON'T GET A REFUND!!!! THEY ARE A DISGRACEFUL COMPANY

Great in there and abi was great couldn’t ask for more

Staff have gone above and beyond with their customer service. They put by some walking boots for me for 2 weeks which was when I was travelling up from Worcester to attend a hospital appointment at New Cross. They also honoured the sale price even though the sale had finished and technically the boots were full price again. A big thank you to Vicky and Simran.

Vicky was very kind and helpful and made our visit a pleasure.
I was with my son-in-law preparing for an upcoming trip to Iceland.
Vicky helpfully showed us the available choices and took time to discuss my needs. She demonstrated patience, kindness and humour along with excellent product knowledge.
Only after having made my main choices did Vicky mention that she was the manager.
She showed good skill in helping Simran check us out efficiently at the till.
