Absolutely Appalling Service and Cruelty Against Patients

I am deeply disappointed and appalled by the service provided by the GP practice St George's Road Surgery located in Coventry. Despite suffering from two severe degenerative disorders and requiring essential medications such as L-Dopa, prescribed by consultants, I have faced repeated delays and refusals in receiving my prescriptions, being forced to beg for my treatments and consequently being humiliated. The refusal of necessary treatments and the lack of referrals suggest a pattern of neglect, discrimination, and indifference, which has caused significant stress and exacerbated my suffering. Medications critical to my condition have also been removed from my repeat prescription list, without any prior notification or explanation, a highly unprofessional and unacceptable action. Changes to a patient’s treatment must be justified, discussed, and communicated in advance, which has not happened in my case.

Repeated attempts to escalate my concerns to the GP, Dr Mathurdas Dadhania, through correspondence and detailed letters outlining the severity of my condition, have been ignored. Despite sending multiple emails to the Practice Manager, Mrs Susan Walsh, highlighting these issues, I have received no acknowledgement or response. This failure to address patient concerns or follow proper complaint procedures demonstrates an alarming neglect and disregard for patient rights.

Additionally, I have experienced numerous delays in the approval of repeat prescriptions, often needing to call the surgeon to remind them. On one occasion, I was assured by a receptionist, Miss Carol, that my prescription would be approved, but this promise was not fulfilled. This level of inefficiency is unacceptable and detrimental to my health.

It is particularly shocking that a treatment I had been taking for years, as prescribed by consultants, has now been removed without reason or discussion. A GP’s role is to alleviate patient suffering, not to compound it. This behaviour undermines the ethics and purpose of medical care.

I am now forced to seek treatment abroad due to the repeated failure of this practice to provide basic healthcare. I question why I should remain registered with a surgery that not only fails to meet my medical needs but appears to obstruct my access to care actively.

I strongly advise others to reconsider registering with this practice. The cruelty, inefficiency, and lack of accountability displayed here are unacceptable.

This practice has repeatedly denied me access to healthcare, exacerbating my condition and violating basic patient rights. This is an appalling failure of duty.

Something else has dropped my attention, this surgery has 4.7 stars on 5.0 on google reviews, but I have bitterly realised that most of these reviews are fake. There are few factors available in order to recognise it, all of them are quite similar and use key words like "very easy" "very fast" "registration" "process"....and mostly are positive, I have tried to put my negative review using few words such as; "poor service" or "appalling service" that are not offensive at all, but my review was repeatedly rejected. I tried even using 1 star without to include any description, therefore, "no text", again, it was rejected. At that stage, I have tried the above but changing the email, I used 3 different emails and again the review was rejected.

An article on the Guardian explains how companies buy positive reviews on Google. Google does indeed sell positive reviews and prevent any negative reviews being added. I can imaging how many other negative reviews has been attempted to be published against this GP surgery but they were repeatedly rejected by Google.

I must be honest, I have never had in all my entire life a such worse and cruel GP surgery like the one described above, some people they should get some bad disorder in order to understand the suffering, and that is what I am really hoping for.

Soon this macabre story will go on line

I strongly urge anyone considering registering here to think twice.
