We recently had Green Building Renewables install an air source heat pump, along with the necessary wider radiators. We are now enjoying the results- a comfortably warm house! From the start of the project, we were given helpful advice and a couple of visits were made in advance- their preparation was thorough and tailored to our particular site and requirements. The team, Dave and the other guys, who made the installation, arrived when arranged, worked quickly, cleanly and efficiently, communicated with us about what they were doing and then how we should use the new heating system. During the installation it was necessary that the old heating and hot water cylinder was removed, but they loaned up some electric oil heaters and made sure that we had a supply of hot water over those few days; we were very grateful for this.

few years ago I had Solar PV panels fitted to the roof of my house near York by the company now known as 21Degrees. (Formerly Green Buildings Renewables) The panels have been faultless since fitted and have saved me a small fortune in Electricity Bills. I have since invested in an electric car and charger I charge my car on our drive using the chargers Eco+ function. The Sun is converted by the Solar Panels into Electricity which charges my in house panels and my EV car. The company 21 Degrees are extremely knowledgeable and helpful.I can thoroughly recommend their services.

I have just received my EV charger commissing pack, letter dated 16 April 2024. I had to drive a round trip of 20 miles to collect it from my nearest sorting office as the postage was underpaid and that cost me £1.50. A year after my charger was installed.....
Why has it only been sent out recently and why with the wrong postage? After spending over £11,000 on solar panels and the charger I am more than a tad disappointed. Having to pay for fuel, time and Royal Mail costs to get this pack seeing a letter dated 11 months and 3 weeks ago simply adds insult to injury

In my experience, a complete and utter shower. One year ago what was supposed to be a 3-4 day ASHP installation left us without heating for 5 *weeks*, because "some plumbers have left the company", and then they were unable to source the necessary radiators. Now on ringing them for the first annual service, as required by my warranty, they are unable to give me a date, as "some engineers have left the company". They hope to put a plan together "within a few weeks" but are unable even to tell me when they might be able to provide a date. Unfortunately, I am obliged to get them to do the service, to maintain the 2 year warranty on their workmanship, and as some of the radiator pipework is decidedly dodgy, I'd like to maintain that if possible. I really can't recommend this company.

Oh, and they also forged my signature on a contract with Northern Powergrid, which I knew nothing about until contacted by the latter

The installation of the heat pump (replacing the gas boiler) was completed in the given time frame, despite some fairly awful weather on the day when much of the work was outside. The new tank was fitted on day 1 and we had hot water from then on so inconvenience was minimised. In addition the price was by some way the best of the three quotes that we had. I would definitely recommend this company.

The installation of my solar panels, batteries and EV charger was complex due to my electricity meter being on an inside wall, having concrete floors that needed to be drilled through, and long cable runs. The teams from both the Doncaster and Norwich branches of Green Building Renewables managed to work through all the difficulties professionally and efficiently. I’m very pleased with the results and now having ‘free’ electricity to power almost everything in my home. Thank you to both teams!

We were really impressed by the quality of the whole service from the York GBR team. They were reliable and efficient with excellent communication and a high quality of workmanship. The installation team were courteous and professional and ensured all the work was completed to a high standard.

It was SO REFRESHING AND A pleasure working with Green Building Renewables they proved to be such a professional outfit that cares about the service they offer.
Nothing is a problem everything ran like clockwork an extremely well organised skilled TEAM.

Inherited a new home with solar panels and heat pump,all new to us and basically we didn’t have a clue. Quality time with Dan who came and explained everything to us in simple terms,no,pressure no hard sell. Didn’t take us long to decide, some more panels,a battery and I boost. Wow, once we had given the go ahead everything happened very efficiently and professionally. All the departments obviously working very well together.
Dan (a different one. ) tended to lead the installation. Fantastic, telling us what was happening and when,all the team respected our property. When all done he took the time to help us with the app so we can monitor our useage.
Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Green Building Renewables were recommended to us and Dan who came to survey our property was very knowledgable. There was no hard sell, took time to share information and answer questions. Our quote was provided within two days. Our experience throughout was first class with prompt and friendly support from customer service. Equally the installation was planned and carried out promptly two weeks after placing order by a very competent team who were equally helpful, responsive and knowledgeable to any questions asked. The system performs as described and we are very happy with it. Communication throughout was also excellent.
I have no hesitation in giving 5 stars and recommending this excellent and professional company and their team who have a very personable approach and clear commitment to customer satisfaction.

We would recommend Green building renewables to anyone thinking of having solar panels. Our experience with the company and their workforce was excellent from beginning to end. We were kept informed from day one as the work progressed. The company used to erect the scaffolding were very efficient, on time and their work was faultless.

Absolutely great experience from start to finish,any questions I had were answered in full and to my satisfaction. I just knew I had made the right choice with Green Building Renewables.
Installation went really smoothly and Tom kneading the installation team of 3 was brilliant, making sure that before he left having completed the job in 36 hours!!.
He installed the brilliant App on my phone and explained to me how to use it and I love it I can't help myself showing my wife and neighbours how fantastic it is.

The work is neat and tidy, the gear looks good and is working very well. The guys who have performed the installation were great and got me up and running on the app once everything was finished, with minimal disruption. They helped set it up in the most efficient way possible (to minimise any shading on the roof from affecting too much of the system). Very happy to be able to see the panels and batteries in 'action'! My only quibbles have been with some of the admin side in terms of some confusion around the quote but all has generally been good. Really pleased so far.

Excellent. From beginning to end a seamless experience. Team arrived punctually and worked hard throughout to ensure everything was ready on time - despite being on the roof on the hottest day of the year. Everyone was very courteous. Highly recommended.
