It's a scam. outright I called them up listened all the blurb then asked how they were going to legally connect 8 kw back to the grid (legal limit is about 4) it went very quiet at the other end so I... Ver más

Even if they would actually install panels, the fact that they state that there is a “grant” is untrue. At best it’s a “sale.” No such govt grant exists. And calling it a “scheme” again implies a gove... Ver más

Another scam company
Received the same £4000 discount letter as everyone else. Clearly a scam.
Beware
I received a letter with a “Green Homes Scheme” letterhead.
The letter said that I was “eligible for up to £4,000 grant with Green Homes Scheme” to replace my existing solar panels for “new tier one 435W panels”. It said “keep your FIT payments”.
A quick internet search does not find any official grant for solar PV currently available and any changes to a system receiving FIT payments may cause a problem with payments.
The website address on the letter is in tiny white writing on green and with no postal address. Any reputable company would surely not send a letter like this.
This is a scam
This is a scam, do not be tempted
Received the letter today in Hampshire.
Offer of a £4000 ‘grant’ and an extra 10p on my FiT. Quick internet search does not find any official grant for solar pv currently available.

Avoid, it’s a scam
Avoid, it’s a scam
Received the letter today (Hampshire) that so many others have had recently. Offer of a £4000 ‘grant’ and an extra 10p on my FiT. Having had a house fire, where our original solar pv went up in smoke, I know that a retrofit system, such as this, requires reregistering and *will* affect your FiT rate. Quick internet search does not find any official grant for solar pv currently available.
No website or business address on the letter (highly suspect) so I binned it.
Letter sent to Homeowner in Surrey
Letter sent to Homeowner in Surrey. Offered £4,000 grant to replace solar panels and 10p extra per kWh generated. Bogus all the way through with near illegible small font white-on-pale green text at the foot of the page. AVOID.
I received a letter from green homes…
I received a letter from green homes scheme dot com today....
They can replace my solar panels for larger ones and I can keep my FIT.....
I am a solar designer and consultant, MCS and NIC registered (Approved).....
This is clearly a scam and I shall be phoning them monday to have a chat....
You cannot retain an old fit if you upgrade your system thats a fact.
On there letter (which I am going to report for unsolicited junk mail that they probably got from the mcs fit register) they have no business address, no registered office, no proper phone number and only an email address.....
This is one of many scams from bogus charlatan companies who have not got a clue with regards MSC and FIT for solar!
Oh and I never asked them to write to me with junk mail - a completely unprofessional letter and no doubt when I phone them (which I will report here) I will speak to some sales monkey who hasn't got a clue.....
AVOID unless you want to be scammed
Letter received 8/6/24 from Green Homes Scheme, clearly attempting to appear as the old government scheme 'Green Homes Grant Scheme'. No company details, no postal address and none on their website either.
Clearly just some solar company attempting to lure unsuspecting folk into upgrading their panels, possibly with no 'real' discount at all.
The address on their Facebook page suggest they are actually 'ESE Solar' in Liverpool. Facebook reviews aren't very favourable either...
AVOID unless you want to be scammed...

Letter received today (Hampshire). Seems to be evolving based on reports below. Same £4000 ‘grant’ but removed company number and removed bogus Trustpilot rating. Still has QR code and phone number but no web address or business address. Ignored and recycled.
One Star Is Too Many!
One star is too many! Don’t touch it as clearly it’s a scam and a marketing trick to get customers to buy! The discount grant is simply an apparent “reduction” on their overinflated price for installing solar panels at your property. Contact them at your own risk or best of all don’t go near them at all!
Solar replacement scam ??
Today the 18th April 2024 a brown envelope arrived addressed to home owner, re upgrading my solar panels, and saying I would get an extra 10p per KWH generated. Also a grant of £4K to do this, reading other reports this appears to be a scam as I believe the government would have pushed this, the company based in Liverpool is not a member of the Green Deal Mark (gov.uk) wouldn’t even scan QR code, unsolicited junk mail.
Scam
Unsolicited invitation to replace my perfectly functioning solar panels with a grant for up to £4000 - with an increase in FIT payments? Hahaha! SCAM WARNING.
Complete scam
I received an unsolicited letter from this company in a brown envelope today offering up to £4000 grant to replace my existing solar panels. I have had solar panels since 2010 and keep abreast of all new developments in technology and government incentives. I am well aware that solar panels have improved since 2010, but if there was any official government grant or incentive to replace them I would already be aware of it. Even if there were, the environmental impact of replacing a large number of fully functional solar panels would be of some concern to me. I can find no evidence of any official incentive or very much about this company at all. Scanning the QR code in the letter takes you to a registration form so that one of their 'friendly experts or partners' will be able to convince gullible and unsuspecting homeowners to buy something that they neither want nor need, and is unlikely to be of any financial benefit to them.
Scam
Scam. Trustpilot has 2.2 for this company not as they advertise 4.8. Stay away.
Junk mail
Unsolicited letter in brown envelope offering £1500 saving on battery storage system. I do have solar panels and I'm on the F.I.T. scheme, but not sure the information on the letter is correct saying you can be on F.I.T. and still install a battery system. Haven't done a lot of research, but wouldn't use them anyway because of bad reviews on here.
Beware !
Official looking letter from "Green Homes Scheme" purporting to offer a £1500 renewable energy voucher against Battery Storage system. Company number at foot of letter, 12759153, relates to a company named Bluesky GHS Limited which was dissolved on 19 September 2023. Director named as Joseph Albert Howard. Take care if you take this offer seriously and act upon it.
Can’t get address right
Letter through post to address but not quite accurate address.
£1500 renewable energy voucher.
Letter appears to show 4.7 rated on reviews (3,900+)
Sick of rip offs so I won’t bother but I think other people should be aware and do more homework before jumping in!
Stay well away !!!!
Recieved 2 letters 1 brown envelope 1 white addressed to Homeowner asking me to claim my discount of £1000 in one letter or a solar battery scheme and £2000 renewable energy battery storage grant and claiming to be 4.8 on trustpilot but the company name is Green homes scheme so have not been truthful as only 2.4 on trustpilot. This is so bogus misleading and scamster like...since 2021 the grants scheme were scrapped leaving lots of people out of pocket.. be warned stay well away!!!!!!!!!
Is this the same?
Is this the same Green Homes Scheme that sent a letter to 'The owner' at my address? It claims to have 4.8 Trustpilot rating. I have reported this to Trustpilot but have heard nothing. I'm playing safe and not going near GHS
SCAM phone call from Greenhome who keep…
SCAM phone call from Greenhome who keep calling me: They have obviously bought my contact details and tried buying me into a government grant that really doesn't exist
Another Scam
As noted on previous reviews, the name which implies a national scheme is in fact a front for another company which is the only place the voucher can be used. I will be reporting this to the advertising standards authority.
