Polite, friendly and enthusiastic staff
Recently visited the Staunton Arms in Rowland’s Castle. The food is what you see on the website and on the menu cards. The staff at this branch are always super helpful and friendly. We both had the ribeye steak which was tasty, tender and cooked just as we asked (rare). All the bits and pieces that came with it were good. With the 40% off all mains offer it was a great value. Unlimited salad was also really good and provided a great starter. Well done to all the staff on duty.

Went this evening as I had a birthday offer , it was a busy restaurant due to offers being on , not enough staff , chefs shouting across for waitress to collect food , very under staffed when they have different offers going on , surly you put on extra staff at busy times we were seated at a table within the serving counter , which was busy & a walk through . Our waitress Martha was lovely and apologetic .. Wouldn’t be going back anytime soon , food wasn’t great Gammon over cooked & very chewy & eggs over cooked too .
Excellent service by G. Redford
Excellent service by G. Redford, made to feel welcome & looked after us with professionalism but not in our faces. Will definitely be returning.
Went to harvester for family birthday…
Went to harvester for family birthday meal and we were suprised how things had changed the menu is basic not alot of choice And when some of our party wanted fish and fish were told that cod is no longer on menu cos of price And is now pollock fish We tried the scampi but even this was not the same a cheaper version But the prices don’t reflect this they are as expensive as ever The only positive was the member of staff was very nice and helpful

We go harvester as family of 7 due to vegan options and safe for my sen children's sensory issues.
Well they got rid of beyond burger and kids chicken fries, the mac and cheese was swimming in grease and the burger my husband had was also dripping with grease. 2 unhappy kids and 2 unhappy adults. Paid £129 for 3 happy kids. We go monthly and def won't be returning.

I am absolutely disgusted at the…
Update. Me and my friend have been up all night with really bad stomach cramps and diarrhea.
I am absolutely disgusted at the harvester in Bedford I've given 3 stars because of the lovely staff and how hard they work for very little. This scam that children eat for a pound is rubbish its not a pound, my child has afrid and adhd which means she barely eats and because she wasn't having a main she couldn't have a salad bowl so she wanted some of my croutons but not with my salad so I asked for a bowl so she could have my croutons i was told they would have to charge extra so I complained and the manager was lovely but I know harvester throw salad away every day, I had gammon which was so dry I chocked and couldn't eat then we get charged for the children's pudding even tho its part of the children's meal. I want to reiterate this isn't the staffs fault but the greedy people who own harvester all tho Milton Keynes are far better Bedford were good but not anymore. But thank you to the manager and the girl serving us who were understanding
Then new harvester menue sucks
We visited the ham farm harvester for my partners birthday..the decore had been updated aswell as the menue and the new look has made the restaurant darker and gloomier which is not condusive to a good eating experience all the changes to the menue sucks..the main reason we loved harvester is that they had breaded mushrooms as starters and we always ordered them to have with our meal..there is also now too many dishes with sauces or creams added and now my options are very limited because i am highly allergic to garlic and cheese and now alot of the menue has spices and sauce applied...there was nothing wrong with the old menue it was awsom and the portions were amazing and now the portions are tiny and you have to fill up on more salad but pay way more..please sort this out harvester
Shrinkflation and declining quality
Went to the Harvester in Buckshaw Village and had what I thought would be my old reliable favourite, the Triple Combo - it was mediocre at best, three sad little pieces of chicken looking lost on the same size plate that only a few years ago would have been full, and the prices are jacked right up.
While the service was great, the food simply isn't what it used to be; Harvester have shrinkflated themselves out of a customer.
katarina harvester in Brighton. Don't bother
Went to katarina harvester in Brighton. Don't bother!!. We went for a special occasion and the service was horrendous. We booked the table as there was 6 of us . I am also disabled. We ordered food to be told some was unavailable. We ate our starter and then waited a while for our main , the fish was overcooked and the salad bar was very poor . But then nothing else ever arrived. We were there for 2 hours and they never removed our main course plates. When we spoke to the manager she was not interested and sent a very young staff member to sort it . We cancelled our puddings and as we had had enough after 2 hours of being avoided by the staff and watching others around us get there whole menu and pay and leave . They said they gave us a discount which turned out to be £1.46 . We were also told we would get a free pudding as a chair broke on 1 of us, nothing materialised. We sent a complaint but never heard back . Please avoid
KATARINA PLEASE AVOID
We booked the Katarina harvester in Brighton for my brothers 60th birthday. We have a party of 6 adults 2 of which were classed as disabled.
We seated upstairs and it was going well until the main course when after finishing our meal we were left with all the plates for about 50 minutes. We then asked to leave as we had been there for 2 hours with no clearance of plates and no puddings. Every other table around us had eaten and left, it was as if they forgot we were there. 1 of the party's chair fell apart the table had left over balloon and food on it. Very poor salad bar fish was overcooked. A very expensive meal £150 plus for not good service please avoid!!!
Terrible
Never coming back. Did not know that you have to go to inside to get the drinks if you order online outside so I waited for 25 minutes. Bad service. No kids playground outside so my kids were very sad. This harvester was grays.
Food for all 3 of us was barely warm…
Food for all 3 of us was barely warm over priced for the portion sizes. Really dissatisfied and they were under staffed. That’s why our food was warm. Can’t blame the server.
Disappointed Harvester
We loved spend time at Harvester Old Windsor, but today they served old salad, dirty glasses for three times, dirt forks and knives, increase the price, down the menu and I had to share a maio with another table.
I guess we won’t visit again, very disappointed.
Myself and six of my family went to the…PERSONALLY, TOTALY DISAPPOINTED.
Myself and six of my family went to the Harvester in East Gate, Tongwell Street MK15 0SB for an Easter Saturday meal because we had been there before and were delighted with the whole experience but on this visit myself, personally, was somewhat underwlemed with the Mixed Grill I had orderd for £21 or so.
The young gentleman who attended our table was real credit to the Harvester, he couldn'y do enough for us but the food was entirely another matter and quite frankly part of it was nothing but disgusting.
I was asked how I would prefer the steak to be cooked to which I asked for it to be 'Well Done'
When it arrived it was nothing but a ball, or lump of grizzele and was barely cooked, it was impossible to cut being nothing but tough and fibrous. The so called Gammon Steak was, again, nothing but a lump of grizzel. no meat on it at all. I mentioned it to our table waiter who couldn't appologise enough and asked if there was anything he could do to make amends. I said, no, I just want the bill and get out but thanked him so much for his concern.
To be honest, I wasn't at all surprised that the resteraunt was so empty, particularly on an Easter Saturday. Look at my particular meal I can only surmise, and by reading the remarks of others that they also had not been at all impressed with the food served.
Needless to say, the East Lake Harvester is off my dinning list.
Do not recommend for Coeliac or Allergies
Do not recommend, especially for customers with Coeliac or allergies.
On the 2nd March I visited the Sovereign Harbour branch of the Harvester. On arrival I advised I have Coeliac Disease and enquired whether staff were able to cater for this, taking into account the need to avoid cross contamination. I was reassured by staff that the Harvester have strict allergen processes.
Unfortunately it appears staff do not follow the strict processes which resulted in me being given a plate of food with gluten containing ingredients.
5 weeks on after raising a formal complaint, I am yet to receive an apology or lessons learnt from my complaint. Unfortunately, although 5 weeks have passed, I still have ongoing autoimmune symptoms as a result of that night and would appreciate some sort of apology or acknowledgement of their wrong doing, and how their practice is going to change so that this is a never event.
