The whole team was amazing. However, a special thanks and recognition must be extended to Scarlett. To say I was picky with my Holiday requirements is an understatement, not the easiest of customers. Scarlett, looked after me at every turn, every time I changed my mind or come up with a different wish list. Even if Hays were unable to find me my perfect holiday the thought and dedication Scarlett and the team showed me is a credit to her and your team.

Well what a shocking experience we’ve had with this company. Firstly I’m not actually the person who’s dealt with the booking but I constantly have to come home to hear “there’s been another problem”. Myself and my partner have a holiday booked in the summer 2026 and my partner and her mum had a holiday booked in December 2025.

So let’s start with the December 2025 holiday. Firstly there was a couple of forms that were incorrect and had to be rectified multiple times. Then when they went the plane was cancelled and my partner ended up missing 1/4 of her entire holiday. Now the insurance that hays sold them don’t want to pay out, the airline doesn’t want to pay out and hays travel is in a constant cycle of “we’ll speak with somebody”. This is currently been ‘dealt’ with with no resolution. Each party all claiming we need to speak with the other.

Then we have mine and my partners holiday. Again we had to have multiple documents rectified as it had all the airports wrong. They then told us the flights were changing and the price was increasing. Only for them to tell us 2 month later that the flights are changing again and the price has increased again. We complained this time and all of a sudden they didn’t have to raise it a second time, but of cause they did nothing about the first price hike.

As you can imagine this is just a basic summary of what’s happened within 7-8 months. When it goes wrong, and it WILL go wrong. Everything takes an age, the insurance that they sell you seems to do nothing if you can’t claim for an airline cancelling flights. You have to throughly check all documents otherwise they will get it wrong, and they will absolutely raise the price of your holiday despite the fact you’ve been paying it for months, and they had no issue trying to raise ours twice.

My partners been the one dealing with it all but I’m so tired of hearing “something else has gone wrong”

My advice to anyone who wants to use these in future. Buy everything through a credit card, get yourself section 75 protection. At least when things go wrong you can charge them back rather than having to deal with all these constant problem. I’m willing to bet they’d get you a resolution in no time if they know you can request a charge back on their woeful services

I’m hoping these can be resolved by my partner as she’s the calm and collective one. As I’m getting to the point we’re I might have to go down to the place myself, and let’s just say, I’m not the calm and collective one and I’m really bored of hearing excuses…

Kirsty was very efficient, helpful and friendly. She was very informative and ensured we got a good deal and great holiday.

Very warm and clean environment, fantastic, friendly and experienced staff, all have time to chat, do not rush , unlike other travel agents, WELL Done 😀

Kirsty was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble, even when we changed dates and asked for comparison prices for other hotels

Recommended by a family member to come in - glad we did, the staff were so helpful and knowledgeable, helping us to pick a holiday based on a few 'must haves'. No pressure at all, we went away to think about it and realised there was a cheaper offer on jet2 direct so we checked in again and they matched the price, and due to a special offer we're getting an additional £50 to spend on their travel card which sounds like a great thing to have anyway aside from the offer. Very happy and feel reassured following a not so great experiance elsewhere.

As usual, Louisa made us very welcome, and remembered our names too! Everything booked and sorted by the time we left the shop. (Morley branch) When we got there she was just going off for her lunch, but came back into the shop to get us sorted before going for lunch after we had finished booking. Always a pleasure to book with Hay’s in Morley.

Ebony very pleasant
However there were 4 children in the shop and it was difficult to concentrate and hear Ebony.

Very helpful staff, Courtney was particularly helpful and knowledgeable.
