As on the other occasions I have used Hays Travel in Ringwood there was the complete willingness to take the time and patience to find the very best options for my travel. I felt warmth and interest. Though one little plea: when you are an old person, your mind goes more slowly. You might need (I certainly do) to be talked to more slowly. And it can help to see on the screen or on your documents simultaneously what your agent is telling you. I hope this is helpful.

We spoke to Sophie about a safari and had really good service straight away she got on building us a package with the things we had suggested we would like to do.

Avoid using for travel money
Ordered travel money (indian rupees) from the ringwood branch. Was not told the rate. When I collected 7 days later stupidly I did not check before paying. Upon returning home I realise I had paid £60 more than I should have. Phoned the branch and they said there was nothing they could do!

Thank you for your feedback - we always appreciate customers taking time out of their lives to help us to improve on our service. At the time of purchase, you were given both the GBP amount and the Indian amount. It is not possible for us to advise you of the rate when you order as we have no way of knowing what a future date rate would be, however once you agreed to the purchase with the information provided, my colleague provided you with a full receipt and showed you where the conversions were on the receipt. We also offered a Buy Back Guarantee, that you declined. Had you purchased this we would have been able to buy the money back at the rate we sold it to you. I am sorry that you had this experience, however my staff have acted within full guidelines of selling Foreign Exchange.
