On-line bidding does not work
Wanted to bid in their online auction. When the time came, I clicked the “Bid” button and nothing happened. I clicked again, still nothing. If such issues exist, it points either to incompetence or to callousness.

Will gladly take your money and then seize all communications. Once was a reputable auction house, nowadays seems like a scam.
Items won at auction May 2022. Months later an invoice was generated that I paid immediately. Since then, no items delivered. I have received a response to less than 5% of the emails I sent asking for an update. I have accepted I will likely never receive the items and I have lost over €1400. I have asked them to refund the money- no response. I have asked them to re-auction the items so I can recover money- no response. The only explanation to date: export delays. There has been no effort to keep me updated or to help me in any way. They sell some very good items but it feels to me that they do not make effort to rectify problems. Remember, the sign of a good company is how they treat customer who have a problem…
This review should NOT be removed as I can prove all allegations with emails and invoices. It is important that German laws about online defamation/libel are not used against consumers to hide true (but deservedly) negative experiences.
Hermann Historica should use the time to resolve my problem, rather than spending time asking google and trustpilot to delete reviews!
I bought 3 items - despite permission to draw a specific amount from my account (I am considering reporting their unlawful behavior to the german police) they draw much more money from my account then entitled to. In the beginning they would not admit their fault. After many mails they admitted their error. When I then finally got the items I only got 2 out of 3.
So amateurish - I haver never experienced so many flaws in one time. Shame on you
Poor customer service. Hermann Historica shipped a parcel on 13 September containing two medieval swords from a 31 May auction worth 28,096 Euro to the wrong address which is now lost. I am out the entire amount and Hermann Historica has not responded two my last two emails. The one email I received from their shipping department highlighted a section implying I didn't verify my address. I received invoices with my correct address on different dates in June and July after the accounting section corrected the first invoice on 24 June. One package for a 28 June auction was shipped to the correct address on 2 September, 11 days before the two-sword shipment from the prior auction went to the wrong address 24-hours after it shipped. I had paid for the two-swords on 8 July, yet it took over two months to ship. The issue may have started when the company had issues with a printer spooler generating invoices incorrectly although my profile had a correct shipping address. Nevertheless I am out a lot of money and Hermann Historica is silent. I first bought from this company in 2012 and never expected such poor business practices. Buyer beware.
