Lady at the front desk was completely rude and did not help at all, messed up our entire reservation.

Easy in easy out

The associates at the Meadows Field Airport in Bakersfield are continuously late and unapologetically. This is a common ocurrence and they have no intention on correcting it because it stems from the manager on down to the employees. It's not fair that we as customers fall behind schedule because of the lack of consideration of this office.

The agent was not friendly at all and the car given to us smelled strongly of marijuana. We even stopped and got a car air freshener and the pot smell was winning.
To date, this was my worst experience with Hertz

It was pretty easy at all stages.

Not having the vehicle available that I had reserved.

The vehicle I rented had issues with the cruise control not working on & off, with a warning light. I checked why there was a warning light on, and which than in diagnostics app it contacted Kia help line. They checked the vehicle on line and said I should probably bring it back & get another vehicle. This vehicle then started displaying other issues with the tire pressure sensors staying on & hill hold stuck on. For being in presidents circle as a customer this a low end vehicle. Poor entry vehicles to choose from.

Worst customer service and for being a presidential circle member they definitely don’t honor the additional driver benefit

Overall, I was able to rent a car for as long as I needed it; I had to extend the rental a couple of times and that process was easy and transparent. I was disappointed in the actual vehicle; it was filthy when they gave it to me and it had an indicator light on from the beginning that it needed an oil change. I don’t believe the car was maintained very well.
