Car was filthy on pickup
Car was filthy on pickup, the return process at MRY is confusing. No signage or person to meet you on return of vehicle. Additionally, flight was cancelled and attendant refused to let us an additional point to point rental to another airport. Despite being able to book online, attendant cancelled our reservation. Had to go to avis instead.

Some cars leak
First car was nice, but then it started leaking (on a dry day) in the passenger foot well. Water saturated my wife’s purse sitting on the floor.
I called for a replacement car, but the agent was busy with an arriving flight. The agent called back and told me that sometimes the air conditioning leaks. I have rented hundreds of cars and never had one that leaked.
They offered me a minivan because they had no sedans available. I trekked back to the airport to pick it up. It worked okay.
