Horrible experience. Fish / dead animal smell. No one is willing to help. I wasn't able to switch cars because office closed and no one is willing to provide refund / discount after the fact. Extremely bad experience.
Interesting experience. Made reservation in person, when I returned to get it, the car was wrong, dates were wrong, drop off info was wrong, price higher. And although I had included that in reservation, was told "You'll have to call Hertz to change the drop off location, we can't do that here." Fortunately the manager happened to walk in, checked on this, and let me know Hertz would actually charge an additional $300 (!) to drop off the car 20 miles away at San Jose Airport. After 90 minutes in the store, I went on Expedia and locked a better rate, correct car type, correct drop off info. So .. nice folks but wow. Bit of a hassle. If you use this location, try to deal directly with the manager.
