Caller showed NO empathy
made a reservation on Sunday to pick up rental on Wednesday. Got a call from the hertz location on Tuesday to inform me that my reservation has to be canceled because they have sold out and they are unsure why I was allowed to book on the website. Suggested I call other locations, called every location even the airport and there are no cars available. I’m stuck in St. Louis with a 2 and 4 year old. Then late Tuesday night I got a call about my family member passing away. I’m unable to do anything but sit here in tears. This not only caused me not being able to go home but I’m also missing my flight to Puerto on Saturday.

My flight was delayed so I called to…
My flight was delayed so I called to ask and confirm holding my car until the next day. The person on the phone said yes it would be held. When I showed up to the location they said the car was already re-issued and reserved under someone else. With that being said, the local store manager Ernie was very helpful and was able to secure a different vehicle for me, albeit a Mini Van.

I rented 2 cars in three week period…
I rented 2 cars in three week period and both cars were dirty.I actually had to get those them clean because I do not like dirty cars. I rent cars from hertz on a regular basis and was very disappointed. I am gold member and i have never experienced this in the past. It would be wonderful to have some type of refund as I had to get cars washed.
