Check in and check out was quick and…
Check in and check out was quick and easy. The service light was on, but told that they just changed the oil but didn't reset it. Not sure how true that actually is. The car was quite dirty inside. Sticky cup holders, dusty dash board, and a dead fly and fingernail.

Ventura Hertz
We reserved an SUV for our week stay in Ventura. When we arrive to pick it up, I was surprised that it was a midsize SUV. However, we were able to upgrade to a Ford Expedition without any hassle. I did not mind paying an upgrade fee. The Hertz staff was very welcoming and friendly.

This location is my home location
This location is my home location. I’ve noticed it declining in customer service since the move to its current location. I believe the person who manages the location is living in the office. I make this assumption as one day I came and dropped off my rental before the property was opened and the front door was open and he was asleep in the back office. The vehicles are not getting cleaned properly. I’ve taken my rental to the car wash because it was not clean. Definitely a different experience than what I get from other locations. I’ve asked multiple times for an after hours drop box but nothing happens or explained why.
