Hertz - West 59th St Opiniones 

It took me 3 hours to get a car.

We waiting for 2 hours to get our car even though I had a pre-paid reservation. The delay made us miss another reservation we had.

Pickup process was smooth, but the office could use more than one agent as the wait was about 30 minutes. Drop-off was smooth too, and the agent was polite & helpful. For car rentals, pay close attention to which routes you'd be taking to determine whether you need the plate pass (which is expensive) and also plan your routes keeping in mind this location is below 60th street and the NYC congestion tax could apply.

Pick up, drop off, customer service, and roadside assistance were top notch. Roadside assistance was a bit slow solving but the service was quick and efficient.

Beyond a bit of a wait during pick-up, Hertz got the car type right (does not always happen!) and the drop off was smooth. Great trip!

Car was covered in bird poop like it sat under a tree for an extended period of time, then the gentleman tried to wipe it off but didn’t do it justice due to how much was on the car. I ended up running through the car wash shortly after so I wouldn’t get hit for the dirty exterior. Car had existing damage that Hertz was trying to put on me, luckily I recorded a walk through video of the car before delivery, which I haven’t heard back from on this issue. I accidentally left a stack of pictures from my honeymoon in the backseat of the car but there was no live person to talk to at drop off or to call at the return facility to inform, I ended up having to put a claim on this issue as well. Overall wasn’t a good experience from start to finish, I’ve had nothing but issues every time I’ve rented from Hertz or any of their sister companies.

Rhonda Makes This Hertz Location Exceptional

We travel frequently, and Rhonda at the Hertz West 59th Street location is truly exceptional. She has taken care of us on multiple occasions, and every single time she somehow manages to make the experience feel effortless, personal, and special.

Rhonda remembers us, welcomes us warmly, anticipates what we need, and consistently goes above and beyond to make sure we are taken care of — including helping us with wonderful upgrades whenever she can. What really stands out, though, isn’t just the upgrade or the car. It’s the way she treats people. She is gracious, thoughtful, professional, incredibly kind, and genuinely seems to care that her customers have a great experience.

In an industry where service can sometimes feel transactional, Rhonda makes it feel personal. She is exactly the kind of person who builds customer loyalty to a company. We specifically look forward to seeing her when we rent from this location, and she is a major reason Hertz continues to earn our business.

Hertz is very fortunate to have her. Rhonda, thank you for always taking such wonderful care of us — you are truly one of a kind and deserve every bit of recognition for the experience you create for your customers.

As a long time customer and presidents circle member. I was made to wait at the West 59th location in the like for 2 hours only to be told that there was no cars for me specifically, everyone else had them, just for me there was a mistake. Never using Hertz again.

The whole pickup process took much longer than expected. We first had to wait in line, and then the check-in process itself took quite a while. After checking in, we had to wait again before finally receiving the car.

Once we got the car, another vehicle was blocking the exit, so we had to wait an additional five minutes for someone to move it before we could leave. Overall, the pickup process was very slow and inefficient.

The people l dealt with at Hertz West 59th street were friendly and relaxed. Both pick up and drop off went very smoothly

First reducing price!! Second when I arrived they just tried to find a way to charge me more and more!

Pick up and return was not great.
Took forever to actually get my car. Long wait. Flustered employees.
Returning my car was really unclear instructions from hostile staff.
Location is not ideal. But I picked it thinking it would avoid congestion pricing. Spoiler alert: it doesn't.

The staff at the W 59th St Manhattan are fantastic. From Natasha, Rhonda, Diamond and Brandon at the front desk to the car handlers they treat customers in a friendly, and efficient manner. They remain calm and sympathetic when they have been overbooked and deal with irate customers and should be commended for their professionalism.

The staff during pickup and dropoff were wonderful. The only bummer was the car having only 7/12 of a tank of gas in it, which isn't exactly the easiest calculation to back into when trying to return the car with the same amount at a location where the only viable gas station is 25% more expensive than anywhere else.
