I had an extremely disappointing experience with this estate agent, and unfortunately Michael was the most difficult person I dealt with. Communication was poor, I was constantly left chasing for updates, and I felt my concerns were ignored. The level of professionalism and customer service fell far below what I expected. I also have concerns about the fees I was charged, which were never explained to my satisfaction. Overall, the experience was stressful, frustrating, and left me feeling completely let down. I would not recommend this estate agent based on my experience.

Horrible stuff, LANDLORDS AVOID. Poor customer support, ignoring emails, pretending to be a functional company when they can not even look after my tenants.

Find someone else, stay away from Michael.

We used this agency to sell our property and the experience was frustrating from start to finish. Our agent was slow to respond to emails and calls, often taking 3-4 days to get back to us on urgent matters. Viewings were scheduled without confirming with us first, and on two occasions the agent didn’t show up at all, leaving prospective buyers standing outside.

I was asked to complete a guarantor form for our son who is at uni. As I am self employed it is often more burdensome to proof income. I supplied the information of my accountant. I know Hive contacted my accountant to confirm income, which is well above what is required. I was then asked for further evidence and receipts from HMRC which I did not have. After some back and forth, I received and email advising: no further action needed. What Hive had not told me was that they failed the guarantor application. This is a poor, impersonal service.
