hmv (UK) - Basildon Opiniones 

Over the past 6 months I've had to return 6 vinyl albums back to my lo store for exchange or refund.
The last time I was offered a gift card refund eben though I bought the original lps on my credit card. I 've been in contact with customer services about all my issues and they have been very unhelpful. This has put me off shopping again with HMV although I have to now because of my giftcard. I feel I have been treated very badly.

Excellent service from HMV

After going into store and them being out of stock the adviser in store checked the website and said that the item was available online to order which was fantastic customer service.
Website really easy to use and item arrived earlier than stated online so great service all around .

Good customer service. But the item took ages to arrive to the shop

I ordered a gift that didn’t arrive until Christmas Eve. The same gift I ordered online was in store, I wasn’t allowed to take that in place of the the order I was still waiting for, so I paid for the gift on the shop floor rather than disappoint my daughter. When the gift did arrive, I explained that the gift was no longer needed as I bought the same item that was already in store. In store, They said i needed to post the item back to HMV. I said i would not send this back if I am bearing the cost of postage. They said that they would speak to their manager and arrange for this to be returned to HMV and that I would need to wait for at least 2 weeks for a refund. If an item is in store that I ordered online and not received, I think there needs to be a process more aligned to just swap and HMV manage the swap out so that I am not out of pocket for weeks. The store was BASILDON and the lady that advised me is called Julia/Jules. Your order 1089863. I look forward to receiving my refund of £29.99 in due course.

Went to pick up dvd from hmv didn't have to queue long before I was served .young lady very polite.

The help I was given in the store was excellent nothing was too much trouble for the young assistant, she asked questions regarding the CD that I was ordering

Requested an early film and this was found by Ethan and ordered on my behalf. I was advised that a duration of 3 to 5 days for delivery and I would receive an email regarding its arrival for collection. Sure enough ordered Dec 4 advised ready for collection on Dec 6th. Ethan was very very helpful throughout, very fast service

Store was busy however the staff were plentiful and efficient. The staff member we dealt with was swift efficient and pleasant.

Couldn't find what I was looking for, a very pleasant assistant offered help, was quick and easy , kept me updated on collection.

Went to store in Basildon and a very helpful member of staff gave me all the info I need to make a decision on a turntable and speakers to buy I ordered on line to save carrying the items which were a Lenco turntable ( half price) and speakers to match( (£20 off ) delivered very fast great looking set up easy and sound great! Now need to expand my vinyl collection

Sounded like 2 employees were having a heated disagreement while sorted out the shelves.

The lady behind the till was lovely, couldn't have been better. location eastgate shopping center

Very easy from start to finish

Didn’t have the DVDs I wanted so they ordered them for me and took a few days to come all the others I needed the staff helped me get them they new just where to find them which was great because I didn’t have a clue.

Great service, good value for money. Staff (J) very helpful.
