Really easy to order months in advance, and then pick up item when it was released. Great way to shop, took all the stress out of it.

I was looking for a CD
I was looking for a CD, it wasn’t in the racks, so your colleague in store ordered it for me and I picked it up in store after a week
I have regularly shopped in HMV in Hull for many years and have always found your staff courteous, friendly, extremely helpful and knowledgeable about music and even about the CD(s) I have bought
They are a very valuable asset to the company and a great public face for HMV, you must do your best to keep them

Order arrived on or before time and…
Order arrived on or before time and assistance was provided after initial enquiries nearly a month beforehand.
In previous attempts to obtain item, there was a disconnect between stated stock in store, or in warehouse such that if it was ordered or even paid for, it could not ultimately be supplied.
This time around, the stock was corrected, it was ordered and paid for, and dispatched the following day, and arrived in store 3 days later. I was able collect the item the next day, all within a 4 or 5 day timeframe, which was very satisfying.
