After speaking with different solicitors from different firms, I have chosen Holborn Adams to represent me in my case. So far, it seems to have been the right choice as I've not had anything to complain about.
I was first assigned Akram as my solicitor which he was the first person I spoke to about the case. Akram was very approachable, always ready to take my questions and not afraid to speak up during my police interview.
Akram was supported by Fay (paralegal) who seems to be the heart and lungs of our small team. No such thing as silly question, always a good time to reach her no matter what. (Thank you Fay for making me feel heard and not being judgemental!).

Although Akram and Fay have moved on to other cases, I am still being supported by Ravi. Ravi has been outstanding, he followed Akram's and Fay's steps and has been invaluable (being present for your client seems to be the motto at Holborn Adams.)
Ravi has given me his phone number so I could reach out to him at any time about anything at all whether it's case related or non-case related (as 2 football fans, we've found each other exchanging texts over our teams.) Regardless of the time of day and topic, Ravi has always been there for me.

I've had a couple conferences with Ravi and he's a great professional, I'm happy with him as my new solicitor.

I never thought I would need a lawyer in my life. I have lived through difficult and stressful months, but I have found fundamental support on a professional and human level in my two lawyers, Ria Ashcroft and Ravi Thatai.

I never expected to find myself in a position of needing to find a solicitor to defend myself in what can only be described as the worst year of my life. I was falsely accused by my ex wife of three serious crimes I did not commit, being GBH, Non fatal strangulation and criminal damage. The stress involved and the worry of the unknown was crippling. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better pairing. Katie is a very thorough, caring and knowledgeable person and immediately I felt confident in her ability. She was always available if I had any needs or questions. Herself and Keir attended my house for our initial meeting and gathered as much information as possible to help my case. I felt as though they were a forceful team and completely on my side. The relief that came when I was issued a NFA was overwhelming and so very welcomed. I cannot put into words my thanks for Katie, Keir and Holborn Adams for how my life has returned to normal without the cloud of indecision and the unknown of a looming potential charge. Throughout the case I have also worked very closely with Geena. She is unbelievably good at her job and will have a great career.
