EDIT - I have updated my review to a 4 to reflect a very satisfactory phone call with Brian from Customer Care on 09/06/2026 who went through the issues with me and we were able to sort things out. Brian had taken the time to look into the issue and have a solution ready before calling me.
I had reviewed Holidays with Aerlingus previously and gave a high score. I changed an original booking to a different destination and found Deepak in Customer Care so helpful. For this reason I have left this review at a 2 star - Deepak was lovely, otherwise it would be a 1 star.
However I have just had a very unsatisfactory call with a different member of the customer care team when trying to change the hotel. I booked a hotel in an area that I have since discovered is a party district and I am travelling with a child. My fault, I understand there is administration costs in making changes however when I asked for a price difference on a different hotel the cost was coming in at nearly €2K more. If I go onto the website and book it as a new holiday, it is pretty much the same price as my current booking. This is complete price gouging and really disappointing. I am a loyal Aerlingus customer, I will always choose Aerlingus over another airline if possible, and was thrilled to find they had a full holiday option. This experience however has left a really bad taste in my mouth.
The Customer Care agent talked over me, it sounded like she muttered 'jesus' under her breath at one point, and while I completely take responsibility that the fault is with me on choosing the original hotel without checking out the area first, a bit more help trying to come up with a solution would have been appreciated. We now have to decide whether to go ahead with a completely unsuitable hotel for our family holiday or pay an extortionate cancellation cost. I will not book with this company again.

I am extremely disapointed with my AerLingus Holidays experience.
I booked a hotel and flights for a family holiday - costing 4000 euro's for 4 nights. I paid a 500 euro deposit, and received my booking reference and confirmation email.
I then proceeded to book and pay for tickets to attend a sporting event while on the holiday (additional 600 euros).
Later that evening I received an email from AerLingus Holidays informing me that my holiday had increased in price by another 900 euro's due to a high demand for flights.
I was unwilling to pay the additional 909 euro's as the 4 nights were already very expensive.
Eventually, after several calls and emails, AerLingus Holidays refunded my booking deposit.
I am now left with tickets for a sporting event that we are unable to attend.
AerLingus Holidays should not advertise all-in holidays if they do not honour the quoted price, even when a deposit has been paid. This has been a very frustrating experience.

Be careful . They give u a price but by the time you go through put in all the details and pay deposit the price of my holiday jumped up €300 and the excuse they gave was live price changed within that time . Even tho when I spoke to customer service the price was still the same as advertised. This is unacceptable and fraudulent very dissatisfied with their service but I can’t cancel due to terms and conditions I will loose more money so just have to accept it .
