Not very pleased withe the new manager at the Shadwell branch of Howdens he seems to be ignorant. And a little rude if im being honest left a bad taste in my mouth and will be taking my business to other branches maybe even other companies! Also promised insensitive that never come very sad !

I purchased my kitchen from the Howdens Shadwell depot during their sale period after being told that if I bought during that time, I would receive a voucher as a gift. I wasn’t fully ready to make the purchase yet, but the promise of the voucher made the offer appealing, so I went ahead.

Once the new manager arrived, I approached him to ask when I would receive the voucher, as weeks had already passed since my purchase. His attitude took me by complete surprise — in my personal experience, he was extremely rude, and the interaction felt dismissive and unprofessional. It was honestly the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered.

Since then, I’ve repeatedly been told “next week,” and then “next week” again, with no real progress. I feel like I’m being pushed aside and not taken seriously. Based on my experience, if you are promised a gift or incentive when buying from this branch, be cautious — in my case, it hasn’t been honoured, and the follow-up has been very frustrating.

Overall, I’m so disappointed. I would advise avoiding this depot.

Generally can not get over the amazing customer service I have received from a Very dedicated member of staff st the shadwell depot Maggie goes above and beyond to help you and keep you well informed of ever you have a problem Maggie sorts in in no time honestly I have never ever had better customer service 100 per cent Maggie needs to be recognised as an amazing member of the howdens team

We have just had a kitchen fitted by Howdens who were incredible! Ismail was great at communicating, helping us with our design choices and getting the best price possible for us. Howdens have the best range of contemporary kitchens in my opinion, with both Matt and gloss ranges. We went for the speckled stone laminate and we are really impressed with the quality!

Ash was our kitchen fitter, whose contact details were passed on by Howdens. He was incredible!!! Could not have asked for a more positive reassuring experience. I could not recommend him more.

Alfie at Shadwell was very helpful and patient throughout the planning process. My kitchen fitter recommended Howdens and he was right. Both he and Alfie kept in touch throughout the process and now it is finished I am delighted.

Ish gave me one of the greatest bespoke kitchen designs for possibly the greatest price in the market. His customer service, planning and execution is top of the class. Would most definitely recommend!

I have been shopping at Howdens in Shadwell for some time now and have always found that Alfie is very helpful and today has carried my materials to my flat for me and to me that is very appreciated.

As a trade person I am very pleased with the customer service and support. Specifically, I had very good experience with Blayne in Shadwell brunch. She called me to update with new products and offers to not miss. I have visit and checked new showroom which was lookin very nice. I would definitely recommend to any trades man to visit in person.

My kitchen designer, Alfie, went to great effort to ensure that my kitchen was designed, redesigned, and planned effectively, making amazing use of the space, and offered great advice along the way. No query, or question was too small, and Alfie always supported me through the process of having my kitchen designed, and delivered. Would highly recommend, customer service was fantastic. The service was great Shuayb was polite, friendly & extremely helpful. He found what I was looking for in a few moments. Offered me really helpful advice. He also carried my sink to my home for me. That really is going the extra mile. Thank you Shuayb
