We had to wait along time for our builder to carry out our work but in the mean time he made the appointment for us with Penny at Howdens. Right from the start we found Penny to be bubbly, friendly and very enthusiastic about planing our Kitchen. From that day on we had no more concerns about the kitchen. Penny worked with us until everything fell into place. We came away with coloured prints of our planned kitchen. Penny told us to use the prints to help us visualises the kitchen, we did refer to them many times. Over the next couple of months we met with Penny several times. Her expertise and enthusiastic manner was always present. Once the kitchen had started Penny made another visit to my home to finalise the plans with my builder. Nothing was ever to much trouble for her.

The finished kitchen is outstanding. Its sleek modern and elegant. We have been so happy with everything from start to finish.

We recently had our new kitchen designed by Penny at Howdens in Sutton, and we couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. Penny was absolutely brilliant. She took the time to listen to everything we wanted and translated it into a fabulous design.

What we appreciated most were her brilliant suggestions regarding appliance placement and a few clever design features we would never have thought of ourselves. She was incredibly honest and professional throughout, never trying to push us into the most expensive options, but rather focusing on what would work best for us.

We are extremely happy with the final outcome and would highly recommend Penny and the Sutton team to anyone looking for a stress-free kitchen design!

Not off to a great start, our builder provided their contact and emailed directly since then further 2 requests for contact followed by 4 calls from
Us with promise of call backs every time we call told they are not there will try once more tomorrow

Nothing that meets our expectations, the designer did not cooperate with us at all in creating the kitchen, many things are not right. So we are not satisfied with the kitchen.

Had a wonderful experience with our local Sutton store. Penny the designer was very knowledgable and patient with us. We started the process on May 2025 but our installer was not free until September 25. Penny allowed us to visit several times to make tweaks to the design. Penny had some really good ideas too, we loved the coffee station it was inspired! We felt valued as customers such a difference from previous DIY suppliers experience of the past. I feel the price we paid with our fitter discount was very competitive and I like that the store is local so any queries dealt with easily.The delivery was well coordinated with the fitter. We had our Bosch appliances through Howdens too as I could not get them at a cheaper price. Love the quality. It's finished our home off and looks beautiful. So many complements from visitors. If you have a good fitter using Howdens is a real treat.
