Janie was my server who was great. All the staff were friendly and easy to talk too, collection off watch was super easy and links were adjusted in shop, very welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend this branch

Had a Seiko watch which wasn’t working properly (after about 10 yrs!). Rang the shop and spoke to Becci who explained everything, clearly and in a friendly manner. She said that we could take the watch into the store and they would organise everything.
We were so impressed with Becci’s customer care and knowledge that we decided to travel to Fort Kinnaird that afternoon to have the watch repaired and to say hello to Becci.

My 10 year old grandaughter has been desperate to get her ears pierced for ages. Tried Samuels at Fort Kinnaird today and the staff were excellent. They completely put her at ease, and explained the procedure throughout. They were super patient and extremely friendly. There are very few shops that provide this wonderful level of service. Would definitely recommend .

Cannot thank Jenny and team at Forte Kinnaird Edinburgh over last few months. After a very sentimental ring was damaged, and been severley let down and upset at a family owned Jewellers I ended up at H Samuel. I had gotten a replacement, as was told repairs would cost £900-£1200 at the other Jewellers , I was having my replacement ring made smaller by h Samuel. I mentioned the issues to Jenny who was so lovely and kind to me. She understood what this original ring meant to me so offered for them to send it away for quote. The quote was £200!!!! For new emerald, re clawed, reshaping and clean and Polish. With just 5 days away to my mums 10th year anniversary of her passing I was called to say ring was ready for collection. Jenny and team had me sit down and the minute the box was opened I was in floods of tears. Mixture of disbelief, pure astonishment of my beautiful ring and the emotion behind it. The new emerald stone is beyond words and the entire ring is how it was when first got it. The repair shop has not only repaired a ring but given me my mum back

Lovely assistant from Aberdeen (Jenny I think) pierced my ear (helix). She was brilliant gave me great advice and was all done well. She kept me at ease.

Can’t understand how home delivery is quicker than store collection?

What a beautiful shop to shop in. All the ladies were fantastic and very welcoming, especially rhea, she was outstanding, professional, kind and very helpful. She really did take her time with me and made sure I was making the right the choice. Thank you so much rhea.

Bought a diamond ring from this store but had an issue with it so took it back the ring was only 6 months old but I wasn’t happy about the out come of the problem so I was really disappointed and really angry at the out come .
A week later I took the ring back to be repaired but saw a better one but they only had the dummy one in my size so Beth arranged for the real one to be delivered to store so I could try it and I loved it long story short came away with a lovely white gold solitaire diamond ring Beth was so helpful and sorted out my problem with the repair on my original ring
The other girls in store were very helpful too sorry can’t remember your names 🙄
I did apologise to them for my terrible response on my first visit as they were so patient with me and I wasn’t very pleasant towards them so don’t hesitate to shop in this store as you will be made welcome thanks again girls x

I visited the store at the end of February in a last ditch attempt to get my Swarovski necklace chain fixed (Swarovski do not repair jewellery!!). My chain was broken when my clumsy husband was taking it off for me 🙈😂. The 2 ladies were extremely helpful and one of them (sorry don’t remember her name) fixed it within 20 minutes. She would not take any payment for doing this, as she said all it took was her time, and she enjoyed the challenge of fixing it. Both ladies are a credit to your company, their kindness and friendliness are a true example of exemplary customer service. I have told many the story and would highly recommend anyone visiting this store. Please pass on my thanks again.

Chloe - Fort Kinnaird Edinburgh branch was so helpful when I dropped off my watch for a replacement battery... informative + charming... extra points for remembering my name when I popped by to unannounced to collect it 2 days later..

I have bought creole gold earrings in January 2024. Paid £150 for them and one of the earrings bended almost snapped when I was taking them off. No happy with quality of this they are soo soft and clasps are also dislocated, difficult to close them and I have lost few times. They are good maybe for display but not for wearing. Very fragile for this price. Went to shop and asked if they can repair or exchange. They said No way. Also 2 managers in Forth Kinneard shop they don’t match the prices…poor customer service managers they are always right.

Myself and my fiance recently bought our wedding rings from the store at Fort Kinnaird and Chloe couldn't have been more helpful. She was very knowledgeable about the rings and extremely patient with us. The kind of customer service she gives makes you want to go back, she is a real asset to your company.

Brilliant service. Very kind sales assistant that helped me choose a lovely anklet for my daughters 13th birthday. I wasn't sure what I wanted as my daughter doesn't really wear any kind of jewellery so needed a wee bit help finding something.

The store service while we were picking out our wedding bands was outstanding. The advisor guided us through the choice kindly and with expertise.
However, we experienced some issues when receiving our order, stemming from the ordering process in store. As we purchased two wedding bands in two different sizes, we were told for home delivery we must submit two orders. The lady on the till did not seem to know exactly how the process worked and needed to be guided by the supervisor. Nevertheless, we were patient, and I did not think any issues would arise.
On the day of delivery, I received a notification from Royal Mail that my parcel was delivered. As I was waiting by the door, I was confused about this, we had received the rest of our mail. This caused me some distress, as I did not think there was a mistake with the delivery details and had no way of checking the order details. Furthermore, the type of delivery used for the shipment did not require a signature, which I find a bit risky with any type of high-value parcel.
The shipment ended up with my neighbour next door. The two rings were packaged in separate parcels, tied together by an elastic band. Shockingly, the two labels showed different address numbers, hence why the parcels ended up delivered with a neighbour.
I suggest some further training may be needed for some of the store staff who, although they may be extremely knowledgeable when it comes to jewellery, may struggle putting orders through correctly.
One thing to point out is that when our order was being taken in store (by a different advisor than the one who showed us the rings initially), there were no other customers there at all.

Thank you for the fantastic service and support for our wedding ring purchase. Glamira company messed up our order and on the wedding day, they sent an email telling us they cancelled our ring order and were going to refund us within 10 days. Shocked and dismayed we had to rush for plan b. We were greeted by Amy the supervisor who helped us out and we got what we both loved and were even offered more than expected service with insurance and further TLC. lesson learned. Go to Samuel for a better jewellery shopping experience Than get crap service from online companies just to save a few extra pounds. Trip to h Samuel 1.5 hours with shopping is done hassle-free. Online shopping with bs details about order dispatched etc 8 days stressed. H samuel you have a customer for life.
