Chronic Incompetence and Disrespectful Property Management
My experience with Image Property has been a continuous nightmare, marred by incompetence, lack of communication, and unprofessional behaviour.
1. Bond Refund Delays: Despite fulfilling all tenant obligations, the agency has stalled the bond refund process for weeks. They insisted on unnecessary paperwork (Form 4) and delayed action even after I provided accurate water meter readings and paid the invoice.
2. Routine Inspection Failures:
• First Routine Inspection: The agent arrived two hours after the agreed window with no explanation or apology and did not provide proper identification or authority.
• Recent Routine Inspection: The inspection was cancelled without notifying us. When I called to follow up, I was told repairs were pending, and an inspection would not take place. This was incredibly disrespectful to our time and showed a lack of basic courtesy or professionalism.
3. Unprofessional Communication: Repeated issues of mismanagement, dismissive communication, and outright negligence have made this process needlessly stressful.
This agency has consistently demonstrated a lack of respect and humane treatment toward tenants. I will be filing formal complaints with the RTA and Fair Trading QLD to ensure these breaches are addressed.
If you’re considering renting through Image Property, think twice. Tenants deserve property managers who are professional, communicative, and accountable—this agency is not one of them.
