Update:
joinparallel re-enstated my account after escalating to the fraud detection team. Apparently something about my account raised flags with their automated fraud detection, but they didn't say what. I'm assuming it was my wife signing up and IP detection flagged. At any rate, they were professional enough to hear my case and look into the issue which speaks volumes about their integrity. I was wrong to call them a scam, I was simply a victim of automation. Revising my rating to reflect the current state.

Original Post:
I signed up for joinparallel a few days ago when I saw a post on Reddit containing a "join and earn $5 promotion". After signing up, I immediately went to work and started posting my referral link online to earn the referral reward. After about 2 days working at it, I had earn about $65 USD and was ready to cash out. I submitted my request to cash out and then the next day I received a notice that my account had been disabled for violating their terms of service.

Shocked at this claim, I immediately went and read the terms of service to see what I could have possibly done to violate them. Not surprisingly, I had not violated any terms according to their agreement and it seems the only reason my account was disabled was due to me requesting a payout. I contacted support about this issue and didn't hear back saying otherwise so until they provide me with some proof that I violated some terms, I'm going to assume they're crooks who are happy to use you to grow their user base but then kill your account when it's time to pay up.
