Poor offer, poor user experience

Poor offer. At first, I was pretty satisfied with it since I found a very good Italian teacher (Gabriele <3), but then I tried studying German and there are very few German teachers, and all of them are only available in the morning/first afternoon, when I'm working.
I have already tried to book 4 lessons and all four of them have been cancelled by the teachers, who came up with different excuses and then just disappeared.
The awful thing about JustLearn is that they don't tell you that you subscribe to a monthly subscription. So they took my money without me knowing and (!!!) when I tried to cancel the subscription, I got the warning that, if I did so, I would've also lost all the lessons I had already paid for.
That is, for me, unbelievable and absolutely incorrect towards customers.
Also, the platform itself is very badly built, it is not clear and there is not much to do.

Justlearn is a scam

Justlearn is a scam. If you teach here they dont pay you and if you want to learn they take more money on monthly suscriptions that you didn't ask for. This is a complete nightmare. A start up with too many teachers, fake profiles and not a single a student. And it's run by a teenager. AWFUL AWFUL experience. Don't try to learn here.

Lessons disappeared and still cannot get them back

UPDATE: I received my money back, but only because I contacted directly CEO and CTO (who was super helpful and solved the issue in 1 day)

The website is not very user friendly but the main issue is that more than a month ago 29 lessons disappeared from my account, after weeks of communication with support via different channels I was informed that it was a system error and I will receive my lessons back, what never happened.
I keep talking to the support but the only response I keep getting is that they are awaiting on the response from the core team. I'm also mainly being ignored on some channels. Still didn't get either money or lessons.
Customer support is very bad and there are many other honest platforms out there. Don't waste your money on this one as if anything happens you will never get money back or someone's decent response to solve your problems :(((

I had a problem with my application regarding my calendar and I was ready to give up and go to another place. But Joshua was there to help me. The process took a while but I understand because of the pandemic. I hope to have a better experience here with this company.

Suddently taking 50% cut from 15% without informing tutors.

In the past they were taking a 15% cut on the tutor's earnings. They suddenly changed everything without informing Tutors. The tutors can no longer fix their own fee and instead they are all paid $6/25 minutes while Justlearn charges students $12/min. They are now taking a 50% cut. They provided no explanation when asked about this change.

As a British I cannot teach English because I'm Asian?

Applied to be an English tutor, but was told by my 'mentor' I was not qualified to teach English because I'm not a native? I was born and raised in London, United Kingdom, and spent my entire life here, gone through the full British education as well as having studied the English language in depth, but just because I am Asian they said they can only accept me as a Chinese tutor? They took a look at my profile and assumed my native language was Chinese??

I have been teaching English online for over 2 years, never have I had a problem simply for not looking 'English' therefore I am thoroughly offended and discriminated against.

So supportive. I could not ask for more.

I am completely new to speaking to a camera lens. My first profile video was awful. Justlearn did not throw it in the bin. They are being patient and helping me to improve it. We need more stars for Justlearn.
