I can't fault this company, I ordered replacement wardrobe doors for some old wardrobes as didn't want off the shelf wardrobes or the mess of removing them for no reason. The doors are fantastic, superb quality and finish. Arrived well packaged and not a mark on them. I would highly recommend and would not hesitate to use again. Also the colour was exact match to a sample I ordered.
I ordered a double linen press wardrobe from KBD. I have now got the wardrobe fitted and I must say I am extremely disappointed at the quality and design of material. I spent a lot of money on the carcass and definitely did not get the product that was worth the money. What they basically sent was some cut wooden boards, which I could have ordered as well, at a much cheaper price. I definitely regret buying from KBD.
1. Delivery to ground floor only, when the delivery itself was charged at GBP 60. Was not made clear with the order.
2. No marking made on the carcass for a fitter to fit. When you have a policy of not providing instructions, you need to at least make markings on the parts.
3. The edges haven't been rounded off, left so sharp that they always end up hurting the user.
4. The hanging rail is shorter, so I have to use a small filler between the rail end and the wall. You cannot even measure and cut a hanging rail properly, how can I trust your skills for an entire wardrobe.
5. The drawers are not deep enough and you have basically supplied the drawers for a lower depth cheaper wardrobe despite charging me for a deeper depth. I am basically losing 15 - 20 cm of the depth on the back of each drawer.
6. No screws provided. When you spend more than 600 pounds on just a carcass of one double wardrobe (that too of smaller height 180cm only instead of the full height), you expect screws supplied
What do you think you charged the money for? The rest of my flat was done by Sharps and although I ended up paying similar price, your quality or workmanship is no where near. Its extremely inferior and I wish I had not ordered from KBD.
