Staff here brilliant, so helpful, obviously enjoy working there, been to two other ca hire firms, Lagorent came out on top, price wise, even for Faro airport drop off. Would recommend.

Best car rental in/around Lagos
We and other relatives always use Lagorent year on year. Fantastic customer service, cars are always given in clean and good condition. Nothing is too much trouble for them.

Very poor service at Faro airport and old cars for long hire?
Hired a car from this company’s Lagos office last year and received great service
HOWEVER
Hire from their airport operation was a totally different experience. Their price was similar to the big companies so I thought I’ll use the local company as they were good last time
Never Again!
First we were left standing in the airport for about 30 minutes before I called them to be told rather brusquely that their man was on his way. He arrived 10 minutes later only to drive us to a remote location at about 11pm (at airport does not mean on airport)
We paid 30Euros for this out of hours service incidentally
The car fuel gauge was at empty so first thing was find a petrol station 11:30 by now with an hour’s drive to our apartment
The car was quite dangerous to drive on the motorway as in my opinion the front suspension needed new shock absorbers, the car was bouncing all over the place so a gentle but uncomfortable drive to the Lagos area as the driver’s seat was pretty much done in too
I asked for another car as I wasn’t going to drive this for four weeks. I had to take it back the 50 miles to Faro and it was exchanged for a slightly less old one that at least had a reversing camera and rear sensors
This I used for the remainder of our stay but did not enjoy it.
I asked how much to upgrade to the next level of car and was given a price Higher than that quoted by the big operators for the same time
The moral?
Don’t use local companies
Don’t book for four weeks at a time
Book for separate weekly blocks and swap
Also my hire crossed August to September and I believe my price was August based
Finally there was no cancellation allowed after 48 hours so the fact I returned the car a day early was not credited
