Trying to get advice on a pressure regulator. I was asked for my post code! Then I was told to pursue the manufacturer (Matabi). What I had said was that the PR was not operating as I expected. Given that there's a man in the video I thought that the company would have an expert (not a silly girl) who would read my request and try to answer it. Totally useless for advice.

So my back lawn was a bit of a state. It’s been laid about 10 years and it was great at first then I started mowing next doors lawn for them as they didn’t bother. Big mistake my lawn just ended up full of all kinds of weeds and miss it was a mess. For years I’ve tried to get it back to half decent and toiled every year buying off the shelf seed and all different varieties of patch fix. This year I decided enough was enough and I was going to make a proper effort. I saw loads of stuff on instagram but decided I wasn’t getting conned so I did my research and found lawnsmith. I read loads of stuff on there about what to do but in essence I waited till about April then I put Liquid weed and moss killer on it. I left it about 7 weeks and went on holiday as it was due rain on my return. I bought a seed spreader. I forked it all over and then I went to work. I used a 2kg bag of classic seed. Kind of wish I’d bought 5kg but didn’t want to spend that much in case it didn’t work. Then the rain came. I waited about 2 weeks and then all of a sudden it just seem to come to life. I cut it on a high setting and have continued to do so little and often. It’s now like a carpet in comparison to how it was. I ended up buying another bag of seed to fill a few patches but now it’s 100% better than it ever was I cannot recommend enough. Next on the list is the front which is even worse but I’m looking forward to the challenge

The products sold are first class, the after sales particularly the monthly diary is very good as a prompt to carry out the yearly lawn care.
There are also videos explaining lawn care and advice on fertilisers, overall very useful.

Contrary to what some ‘reviewers’ may have said, Lawnsmith are a great company to deal with. I have used them for many years and enjoy their monthly lawn updates that prove useful to me as a customer knowing what I need to do and buy. I have purchased a large quantity of of fertiliser, lawn seeds and other products from Lawnsmith and all it is high quality and well priced. I’ve never had an issue with them and will highly recommend them to anyone looking to bring their lawn up to a fantastic standard without paying for professionals.
