Simple MOT errors breed suspicion
I chose Leigh Service Station because they are close to where I live and claim to be Land Rover Specialists.
My car was MOT’d with four fails. Two fails were reported to be 2 x rear seats could not be secured in the upright position. This was odd as I’d never had the problem.
When I demonstrated to the Manager they worked perfectly he said “well there are two other fails anyway”.
How can I trust the 2 x mechanical fails are true if these simple ones are not!
After much discussion, the Manager refused to re-issue a corrected certificate even though he admitted they had made a mistake.
I will not be using them again because it seems they are looking to generate profitable repairs from MOTs rather than inspect a vehicle accurately.
