Avoid avoid avoid like the plague. I have just received a letter from a debt collection company from a contract with this company that was impossible to cancel....12 months in advance.?..by recorded mail.?..it took me ages to figure that out...I phoned....I emailed...I sent recorded letters....they still insisted I hadnt complied with the contract so I have to pay for a service I tried to cancel well before the time I may add....but not soon enough for them.....shocking....shut them down!

What a rubbish company they are unexplainable lies from the start salesman tells you one thing the small print says different they then even try to charge you for service that they cannot as the surgery you are advertising doesn’t exist as it’s been closed down they then threaten to send around the debt recovery bully’s keep all corespondents and take them to court or better still STEER CLEAR !!!

Contract with horrendous small print to hide future payment tie ins that are not explained at point of sale.

Lies from the get-go. Was told they were calling from the local surgery in our town. We now know they're not in any way associated with said surgery. The surgery told us they had never heard of Medical Leisure UK. When the salesman arrives he seems nice but it's all an act. He will promise that you'll be the only business in your sector on the card. He will promise you a prime position on the card. Yet all these promises are broken when you read the small print that states you have no right to exclusivity or prime positioning on the card.

The salesman does not talk you through the contract. He won't even show you the paperwork has two sides. All the terms and conditions are on the back. He will do his utmost to get you to sign your life away. He will tell you it's now or never and your advertisement position will be gone by the end of the day so he needs a decision now. There are hidden fees and charges everywhere. Graphics design charges even though you did the artwork yourself. Charges for not sending the artwork over before a two-week deadline. The absolute best part is your contract auto-renews unless you give 6 months written notice by recorded post. You cannot call them they don't answer and if they do all they say is "it's in your contract."

An absolutely awful company to deal with. Avoid at all costs. They will lie through their teeth to get you to sign. They will threaten legal action which is a joke. Any judge would deem their contract terms unfair. They even have a term on their contract that states if in a court of law one of their terms is deemed unfair the rest will stand independent of each other. Meaning if a term in the contract is unfair the rest still stand. It's shocking that these companies are allowed to exist. Robbing money from hard-working people.

They also now claim that half of these trust pilot reviews are not real customers. Every single one-star review I've read is an accurate description of this company

Very poor standards rip off artists STAY WELL AWAY!!! Not interested if you have your problem as-long as they have your money your on your own!

Scam artists very rude dont like it when you figure out what there doing trying to defend themselves really poor customer service my account manager VERY unprofessional its like arguing with a little child very petty... AVOID at all costs not worth the money there salesman lies out his teeth wouldn't trust anyone from that company now.

Same as all others , a poor response from doctor surgery cards then rolling contract means get another bill next year ! Write in recorderd delivery to cancel

So a salesman turned up. I took up the offer of 24 month contract to advertise my business. However calling up today to ask when the cards will be published, I have just found out that in fact, its a rolling contract and I will be tied in unless I send A LETTER IN WRITING BY RECORDED DELIVERY. Seriously? I asked why I can't just send an email, I was advised 'No, you need to do it in writing by recorded delivery as per the contract' - what a joke, no one even told me that it will auto renew!

We have advertised for 3 years using this company and we have not made a single sale through this platform, not even 1 enquiry!?
Also, check the small print, these sales people will not tell you you will be tied to a rolling contract and if you do not cancel in writing 3 months before the end date you are going to be charged over again. And, you best record the delivery of the letter as they said they did not receive our letter!

Please note, I cannot honestly write down details of my bad experience as they would certainly be blocked by Trustpilot breach of T&Cs, like many other reviews below.
I can say that this was one of the worst experiences of my life and had to sort it out in Court, successfully.
Simple advice:
Leisure Medical UK and Leisure Medical UK LTD are not the same thing. It is the same person behind and it is perfectly legal.
READ your contract BEFORE you sign. If you are happy with unnecessary, expensive yearly Artwork fees, an automatic Rolling contract (12 months notice?) and the rest of the Conditions favouring them only, go ahead.
If you avoid them entirely, even better, in my opinion.
I am now dealing with the Debt Recovery agent they used for the Harassment received.
It will also be very convenient to say on a public website such this, that I am NOT one of their Clients, HOW could I possibly prove it on here???
No worries, it was a pleasure to prove it to the Small Claim Court!

P.S. To TrustPilot people, please feel free to ask me the few hundred pages file I have against this company, it won't be much difficult to prove the misrepresented agreement we had.

P.P.S. To Leisure Medical uk, to publish my contract/client number, it's not a requirement for this website. And if it is, I'd be very happy to provide it!

If I could give a 0 Stars I would! Please everyone do not trust this company, stay far away! I wish I knew about them before as they are not sincere and it is not worth the hassle.

Even though i am happy with the card, the whole experience with medical leisure is really bad. I have not been told of half of costs i had to pay and looking at all reviews below i see this is how they work, not fair.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS, THEY FOOL YOU INTO TAKING A SHORTER CONTACT OUT AND IT RENEWS AUTOMATICALLY THEN USE A DEBT RECOVERY COMPANY THAT THEY WORK WITH TO CHASE MONEY FROM YOU BUT ALSO INCURING HEAVY COST. ALSO YOU HAVE TO PUT IN A LETTER IN WRITING TO CANCEL.

As a small holistic and complementary therapist sole trader, within the 1st 12 months of set up, I was approached by Leisure Medical via a telephone call to advertise on a local GPs centre's appointment card.
The sales man visited me in my home, showed me examples of cards, explained that the GP surgery was eager for complementary therapy to be on their cards. He explained the costs for the 2 year contract and I was happy to proceed. Roll on 18 months and I had a telephone call from Leisure Medical asking about readvertising. Has I had not received any follow ups from the advertising campaign I explained that I did not wish to proceed. I thought that was that.
Oh no. A few months later I was billed for the third year of advertising. I contacted Leisure Medical to say I had not agreed to this. I then received the bombshell news ( something that the sales man, nor the person on the telephone, had not pointed out to me). In the small print of the contract, it is written that a 12 month notice period is required to cancel the contract. So not only have I been billed for year 3 but I can also expect a bill for year 4. I am sorry Leisure Medical but I find this to be unacceptable. Your staff had at least 2 occasions to bring these CRUCIAL terms to my attention. I have emailed and said I am unhappy but have now received another demand for payment which refers to sending
the account to debt recovery services if it remains unpaid. I feel really let down by your company.

I had difficulty contacting the company after the initial agreement was drawn up - no one was answering the phone or responding to emails and I felt concerned that I’d been scammed. I ended up contacting the doctors to see if they recognised the name of your company and they reassured me. So that was a negative experience. However I am happy with the quality of the artwork although my ad wasn’t placed in the position I was told it would be.

I am a relatively new business owner and I have been looking at ways to promote my business, Lemon Grove Holistics. I became aware that Leisure Medical UK offered advertising space on an appointment card at a local doctors surgery and as a Counsellor and a Hypnotherapist I thought that this would be a good place to advertise. On contacting the company and expressing my interest I was surprised at how quickly they arranged a home visit from one of their team (Dan), who went through how it all worked / costings etc. I was a little uncertain at first as the outlay appeared expensive but Dan was brilliant and guided me through what the process was and I decided to commit to two years advertising my business. From there everything has moved very quickly and Molly in the office has been amazing at answering any queries that I initially had. The artwork department have been so accommodating, as I requested several amendments to my art work prior to approving my advert. I am delighted with my decision to advertise through Leisure Medical UK and I would certainly recommend them to other business owners. Thank you Leisure Medical UK. Fi Cunningham

My experience with leisure medical has been a positive one from the start.
I initially had a call from the customer service team, asking if I'd like to advertise my business on the local drs 'appointment cards'. When I expressed my interest in finding out more, one of their sales reps came to my home to give me further information.
I found their sales rep friendly and helpful. He was able to give me all the information I required.
I decided to sign up with leisure medical as I found their fees to be fair.
Once I'd agreed to place an advertisement, the team got to work on designing the advert and then emailed it through for my approval. I was happy with the first draft.
Finally, I was told that I would receive a copy of the appointment card through the post, once printed. These arrived last week.
To summarise, Leisure Medical did everything they said they would; their staff were friendly and helpful; and I'm very pleased with my advert.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

The worst company I have ever had to deal with very unprofessional. They Renew a rolling contract after 12 months ( writ in the small print ) now being threatened with bailiffs and courts they do not I awnser the phone or reply to emails so I will be gladly taking these to court if there is no resolution . false advertising by the sales rep now I have a £400 bill since 2018. No letters to state missed payments then a year later I get a bill with added interest AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAUGE!! They have Not replied to any of my many emails since july 2019 I sent signed delivered letters as advised from citizens advice .. my first 1 star review they reported and was removed but yet they carnt get back to me over a case I have open ... probably waiting for the debt to go up before they get back in touch all emails and signed delivery receipts ( 2 letters sent ) in August still no reply its December

My advice would be to avoid at all costs. I was contacted by this company and told my advert would be the only one for my sector in the GP appointment card. When it was published there was an advert from a competitor directly opposite my advertisement. When I queried this I received a very curt reply to say the contract stated I don’t have a monopoly! Please don’t trust these people with your hard earned money.
