My wife and I (Laura and Tom) booked onto the free session after our NHS classes were cancelled due to sickness. We both felt quite naive and underprepared but this class was perfect for us. Really useful tips and lots of great humour throughout which really made us feel more at ease and relaxed - which was lucky because we got chosen for a few of the questions! Feel a bit guilty doing a course completely free but we plan to book on a paid one too in the next couple of days. Louise was fantastic and I would recommend her to anyone. Though there aren’t many at all, how anyone can give one star for a free two hour class is beyond me! But even then Louise shows her class and integrity with sincere and heartfelt responses, even though it must be tempting to say something slightly different! Thank you again Louise, we really enjoyed it and found it really beneficial!

Great classes, would 100% recommend. We booked onto these classes when we couldn’t get onto in person antenatal ones due to our schedules. The classes are great value for money.

Louise was amazing, she is so knowledgeable and reassuring but funny and light hearted at the same time. I ended up having a forceps delivery and we were prepared for what was going to happen because of these classes and didn’t panic. Especially found the infant feeding class helpful and it’s probably the reason that I stuck with breastfeeding in the early days. Louise explains what will happen with your milk supply in the early days and what to expect, helping make it less overwhelming! Thanks so much!

I really enjoyed the virtual classes, I started with the free classes to see if I liked them and super clear and concise content, and knowledgeable midwives!! Highly recommend it

I attended a natural labour and birth class yesterday, and I was absolutely blown away by Louise. Her use of analogies was incredible — as a visual learner, they helped me grasp the concepts so much more clearly and deeply. I walked away feeling empowered, informed, and eager to book more classes. Honestly, it was one of the best classes I’ve ever attended. I’m truly impressed and would highly recommend it to anyone preparing for birth!

We were recommended by a work colleague to get the full bundle, so we went straight in for the full package. The information included in classes is much wider than most providers. Really useful timings either after work or the weekend with some classes on demand. After a long day of work her humour keeps you engaged. We’ve been to a couple nhs classes which were really dry and hard work after a long day of work in uncomfortable condition. The online classes gives you more flexibility in the comfort of your own home. The free yoga is an added bonus compared to other providers. Getting the notes allows you to be fully engaged in the classes and is a helpful reminder of the course as it can be overwhelming. I know so much more know about my choices and what to expect.
Being able to pay in two instalments really helped as there’s so many big purchases it helped to split the cost out, they are amazing value for money. Thank you Louise

We did the free labour and birth class with Louise and immediately bought the class bundle straight after! She has such informative classes while also being realistic considering what new parents will be going through. That plus her sense of humour made myself and my partner thoroughly enjoy her classes, she was also very accommodating with classes that we couldn't attend sending us links to watch pre-recorded ones. I would highly recommend these classes we felt so much more reassured and informed after them.

We attended the first free Honest Midwife class with Louise last week. It was so informative and enjoyable. It is one of the only zoom calls I have ever been on where I've stayed engaged the whole way through (and it was for 2 hours). Louise's knowledge of birth and all surrounding topics is brilliant. Her sense of humour makes the class really enjoyable and helps make the whole experience of soon-to-be parenthood feel less intimidating and scary. When we finished the Zoom call we immediately booked onto more classes, which were offered at discount rate if you attended the first class (really good value for money!!). We have since been to one more class this evening, which was again really useful and fun! Even my husband (who has no clue about anything baby-related) is thoroughly enjoying and feels like he's becoming more prepared for fatherhood! We are looking forward to the next few classes that we have lined up. All I can say is, if you're questioning if they are worth the money, they 100% are so definitely sign up to do more! A great educational class with lots of laughs along the way!

Absolutely brilliant classes! Very informative and enjoyable as well as a fab price. Would highly recommend to any mum to be’s!

Fantastic advice from Louise and good humour to make the course immersive.

Brilliant & frank advice for an extremely reasonable price and delivered in enjoyable & engaging way. I've done a few different free online antenatal courses so far which have been good in their own way but the Natural labour class with Louise made me realise how much better & empowered I felt afterwards & I knew I wanted to cover more areas so I booked a bundle. It's the no-nonsense approach I like, Louise tells it how it is, is unbiased, will give you all angles and just makes you feel like if the 'undesirable' happens like induction, forceps, c-section etc you can deal with it because you've been well informed. Being a naturally stressy person if I'm not in control this has really helped my building nerves about my labour and what might come. 100% recommend this to new mums but also experienced mums as they may well not know the detail behind what they've had happen to them in the past.

We had our first Honest Midwife zoom class on Sunday. We signed up for birth and natural labour.
We had no idea what to expect, we had Louise and she was amazing! Very knowledgable, experienced from being a midwife, the wy she delivered her class was fun and easy to understand what she was saying. She had props and had slides, that made it easy to picture and understand what she was talking about.
We have now booked a bundle of classes and i would highly reccomend the honest midwife.

Extremely useful classes and presented in such a simple way to understand. From the class I took, I understand what is happening in the body during labour and can work with my body and not against. Myths were debunked and useful tips given. Time was taken to answer questions.

Louise's engaging and humorous approach made complex topics easy to understand. Even with my nerves about labour options, this class really helped ease my mind. Highly recommend!

I attended the free Natural Labour & Birth session with The Honest Midwife through Let's Talk Birth and Baby. The class was informative, covered a lot of useful information, and Louise's humour made it engaging, though I can see it not being for everyone. While the session helped ease some of my nerves about birth and offered practical tips, I found it was pretty basic compared to what I had hoped for. There’s good effort to involve attendees and notes were provided, which is handy. Overall, it’s a decent introduction, but I’m undecided about progressing to the paid bundles. A solid option if you want something informal and lightly educational. Three stars.

We absolutely loved the free Natural labour class so went ahead and booked the bundle! We enjoyed the fact that we could watch it from the own comfort of our homes.
Unfortunately my husband works away in the week, Louise has been very accommodating at sending the recorded version of the workshop to us, she has also extended it so we have the whole weekend to watch it.
The only issue I have found, is where I’m not attending the live classes, I do not get sent the class notes straight away. I have emailed three times to receive the infant feeding class notes that we watched well over a week ago now, instead I was sent the sleep notes and have not had a reply since. Like I said, we love the classes and I hope this is just a one off but only time will tell! ☺️

We were looking for online antenatal classes and did the first labour class for free. Louise was genuine and gave honest and realistic advice. There wasn’t any sugarcoating and we ended up needing an instrumental delivery in theatre. Having been to a class which explained the risks, benefits and reason for so many people in theatre, I felt safe in the hands of the hospital and well prepared. I’m so pleased we did these classes and I suspect we would repeat some of them if we were to have another baby. The class notes are also brilliant. Thank you Louise!

Myself and my partner are due to have our first baby and these classes have not only educated us about all things birth and baby, but have calmed our nerves. Louise makes the classes interactive and fun, whilst highlighting all the important information.

Would highly recommend!
