I have been dealing with an issue…
I have been dealing with an issue relating to incorrect credit reporting that was previously investigated as part of a complaint involving both Link Financial and Lloyds Bank.
While Link Financial did update their own reporting correctly following the outcome, the situation has since deteriorated due to further errors introduced by Lloyds.
When I contacted Link Financial again to assist in resolving the ongoing inconsistency, they have effectively washed their hands of the issue, despite it relating to the same account and previous complaint.
This leaves me in a position where the same debt is being handled inconsistently, and neither party is taking ownership of ensuring the data is accurate across the board.
As a result, my mortgage application has now been declined due to adverse data, and I am left trying to resolve an issue that should have already been settled.
Very disappointing experience overall, particularly given the lack of coordination and accountability between the parties involved.

They have said they've sent me an outer request? How? When they don't have my address I've spoke to them on the phone and can't get through security because the address I live at doesn't match there records, and every other address I've ever lived at doesn't match there records .
But yet they continue to take money from my personal bank account? How is that right? I think that's theft and fraud
I can not make any payments to this…
I can not make any payments to this account that I have got with link financial every time l try to pay lm ether redirected to something else on your website and can not use the text message links to pay online the online portal dose not work either completely useless way to try and pay something online. Then I end up getting upset and frustrated when l can not make the payments online l have tried calling on the telephone just to wait for 45 minutes then the call gets disconnected.
You want a company that will listen - don't use these guys
Were to start -
OK I have a small debt - which isn't in dispute - But I need to have everything in writing & so I don't accept doing financial things over the phone. Email or Letter is the way for me, so I have time to process & make sure its all in writing to protect myself and them. I get stressed when using the phone & so if I agree to something, its not in writing, I may forget I have agreed & so have nothing to fall back on - I have told them this 10 odd times - they don't listen - I have emailed, emailed, EMAILED. giving them details - They don't listen - I have an issue logging in (which is the main issue) they just send a form and say oh fill this out with all your bank details (totally not secure) to start payments etc, or they say oh send us screen grabs (which I have done) of the issue and we will get back to you.. they don't.. I then get woken up at 8 this morning with a call from them (I didn't answer) with yet another crap message saying to contact them.. I am trying, but they just don't respond to emails and only want you to call.. I DON'T DO CALLS.. SORT OUT THE LOGIN AND WE CAN GO FROM THERE..
I will be again, emailing them with my frustrations and see if I get a responce.
Oh and to add, they say I haven't contacted them so they will send someone round - erm, wtaf, I have been trying to deal with you via the communication methods I prefer, yet you don't respond..
Seriously a waste of time company whom will only hassle and threaten you if you don't pickup the phone..
WELL GUESS WHAT - Not all of us are comfortable speaking on the phone to people we don't know..
Sort it out... But they won't..

I am amazed how this company has a Consumer Credit Licence, advice to other consumers, before PAYING ON THE PORTAL, the it’s states “eu”, European Union, not “uk” .
Thanks for the joke of a response, oh by the way trying to phone….. If you can get through to speak to somebody without being in a queue for 20 minutes or longer.
Arrogant, very aggressive response letter not of a professional company , I will be contacting the FCA over this letter sent to myself. Very poor, what if the customer had learning needs and health implications like dementia??? Under the mental health legislation , you could quite easily tip people over the edge with this terminology. You letter sent to me with the level of aggression was totally unacceptable.
You have to write letters, on a level where everyone will see the same perception, not receiving a threatening letter.
That’s all I needed, to proceed with the FCA. I gather you have No stress analysing technology on your telephone systems?
You need people working for you with empathy.

I contacted them back in October 25 to explain my circumstances had changed and wanted to change my repayment plan, they never responded or came back to me!
Submitted a complaint which was upheld and compensation issued! I was told they would contact me about setting up a plan and they never did.. I have been chasing since beginning of December and no responses.. they keep threatening me.. disgusting company.
My complaint is now being handled by the financial ombudsman..
Companies like this shouldn’t exist they don’t help you.. quick to harass but never, ever respond when you want to speak to them! Absolutely useless!

They prefer me to leave a review rather than dealing with the issue
I called them as I was told an account had been moved to them but I had not received details. They confirmed the account had been moved but they did not have my correct address, so I didn't receive their letter. (Not my fault as the old account had the correct address as I had it for years without issues) I updated my address with them then they said they would send me an email instead, as well as another email asking me to leave a review. I received the email for the review, the link of which I am using now, but did not receive any further emails from them so am now no further on than I was when I called and still do not have the information I requested. Note to their customer service - if you want a good review, deal with the issue before asking for a review. Crazy.

Won’t prove debt is owed with a deed of assignment….
I sent 3 lots of letter over 6 weeks asking for deed of assignment to show proof they bought the debt, which legally requires 2 signatures from the seller of debt and 2 from the buyer. Yet they still haven’t or couldn’t provide me with the deed of assignment, in the court of law this must be provided to prove a debt is owed….yet they continue to harass me with continuous letters of demand. The debt is statute barred and still chasing a debt that no longer exists. I will NOT and shall NOT respond to any false demands from this company. I even sent a letter to Selina Burdell back in February on the 4th and I still have not heard from her. FOS will have a field day with this complaint.
