The process of liquidating the company was very smooth and easy when using Liquidation Centre.
The initial contact with Grace was professional and reassuring as she was patient, responsive and also very informative. Every staff member that I had contact with during the journey of liquidating the business to receiving the funds, were very helpful and understanding.

The process with the Liquidation Centre was the following:
1. Initial contact with the Liquidation manager.
2. Receiving the initial agreement for digital signing.
3. Receiving further documents for filling out and signing.
4. Signing the agreement in the presence of a solicitor, which they can provide for you.
5. Sending of all documents and transferring of funds from the business account to the Liduidators.
6. Within a week all shareholders of the business received there funds.

All the staff have been very helpful, the process was completed as anticipated with no hidden costs, however because of the reliance on using online forms (presumably to keep costs low) we needed help a few times, but all was resolved. A word of warning though if you are closing a solvent business, you may have future problems arranging any type of insurance if you admit to it - as insurers don’t generally grasp the huge difference between solvent and insolvent or forced closure. Our insurer told us to lie! In the end we stuck to the truth but had to insure private assets via a broker.
