Andrew Willis was extremely helpful finding house insurance for our thatched cottage. Very knowledgeable, professional and efficient. He was particularly helpful in providing several quotes with different excess amounts to enable us to choose a policy that met our needs at an affordable price.

We recently renewed our son’s home contents insurance through Lloyd & Whyte. We enjoyed excellent service from Destiny Pine-Brown, who rang me in advance of the renewal date, to check if the level of cover required, or any details, had changed since last year. We then received the renewal invitation, together with all the information we required, in good time. As a result, the process was simple and straightforward.

Great service sourcing some locum insurance - an alternative policy with very similar conditions was found at a much lower premium. Very happy. I would have given 5 stars but I found communication difficult with no-one answering phone calls or replying efficiently to emails.

Did what was needed

I owned a 16th Century Grade 2 Listed Thatch Cottage. They Insured me an astronomical fee and charged me extra as a Flood Cede Risk even though my Cottage had never flooded since it was built in the 16th Century. I felt ripped off so cancelled my insurance as I got a much better deal from a Competitor.
