Booked a flight for 19th May. Would have turned up totally oblivious that they had ceased trading if a friend hadn't mentioned it. No response to telephone messages or emails to advise how we go about getting a refund. I still, at 28th May, haven't officially heard from the company that they have ceased trading.... shocking ....

Want to be more positive since the idea of a seaplane flight from the loch is so appealing. However, the customer service I received was simply terrible. In short, a flight booked many months before was cancelled with 48 hours notice due to a technical issue with the plane. I guess these things happen, and obviously cancellation is better than a flight proceeding where there is a known issue.
But - and it’s a huge but - it then took four months and countless emails and phone calls before I got my money back. Everyone I spoke to or emailed was perfectly pleasant, but they seemed entirely uninterested or unable to help me get a refund. Many times I was promised a call back to update me or explain. This never happened. It was an unexpected and pleasing moment when I finally got the money back in my account.
I really hope others have a better experience, but be warned of the horrors ahead if you do need a refund

I had a really great flight from Loch Lomond on the seaplane today. Very friendly informative staff. The pilot Reese gave us a really smooth flight over the Kyle’s of Bute pointing out the places of interest to us. I would highly recommend them. I was only flying for 30 minutes but will book longer next time.

Absolutely shocking company DO NOT USE,
Our flight was cancelled the night before we were due to fly because of the wind,the weather was very calm the loch was like a mill pond not a ripple on it, the email I received said a member of the company would be in touch, nobody ever contacted me, I eventually phoned and spoke to a woman and was told my voucher was out of date, they are the robin hoods of the highlands,

I am sure that if you get to take your flight, the experience is fantastic. However, my experience with LLSP has been that they have actively sought to prevent me taking the flight in a deliberate attempt to keep the money without providing the service. They proved very slippery to deal with and clearly have a well worked routine to retain money without providing the service.

We spoke with the company the evening before our booking and advised we were to travel from Newcastle and given the weather we could do with some guidance on whether the flight would go ahead given a marginal weather forecast. They suggested we wait until the morning and that they would contact us if cancelled. We advised them that timing was difficult given that we had a 4 hour drive. No problem, we will be in touch they said. In the morning we contacted them but they failed to answer and we had to email. The company replied to our email at lunchtime stating that they had moved the flight by an hour and we were contractually obliged to attend or lose the flight. The company were aware of our timing for the day and this felt like a a deliberate act to discharge their obligation of the flight for me, without actually providing the service. They young chap on the phone was indignant, rude, smug even and he was clearly well versed in not providing the service people pay (a lot of money) for. This company are not honest and are keen to take money and less keen to give you the service you pay for. Avoid them would be my advice.
