The delivery window was not as promised on their website. The goods took 14 business days to arrive at my home in the UK. I was only made aware of this discrepancy when I wrote in to enquire about my goods.

LOTS Have the vastest selection of picks and guitar picks with low shipping and very fast service. Highly recommended!!!

Also the big plus is that you can order many single picks rather than whole packs, very few online retailers and at times physical shops allow for this.

I bought something from their website, I recieved No shipping information, not even an order confirmation. After about 2 weeks had passed my item still hadn’t arrived so I wanted to cancel my order which wasn’t a possibility because I couldn’t even see my order due to the lack of any confirmation. I then requested a refund via PayPal which I had gotten, only to be called 21 times by an employee, during school time and whenever he felt like it. 3 weeks later they hadn’t cancelled my package even though we had communicated and it was still sent. They then threatened me with legal action because they claimed it was theft. Don’t ever buy anything from this terrible website ran by scums.

I ordered a set of strings on June 6th for a concert on June 16th. I was charged 6.99 for delivery from one EU country to another. By June 19th they have still not arrived (I had to buy strings from another retailer for the concert.) On contacting Lord Of The Strings for an explanation, I was informed that it was because of Brexit (Ireland is not in the United Kingdom!) and that there are no direct roads to Ireland. They said delivery could take 28 days. At no point during the ordering process was a delivery time of 28 days mentioned. I have used plenty of other EU retailers who can deliver in a matter of a few days. 28 days is not a workable timeframe for most working musicians. Lord Of The Strings should state clearly on their website that their delivery process is so slow so that people can make an informed choice as to whether to purchase from them. I certainly won't purchase from them again as I still have no strings and am out of pocket for the replacement set.

Ik had snaren besteld voor mijn baritone gitaar. De lage B-snaar bleek te kort. In contact met Carl van LotS, het lag aan de reversed headstock en string-through body waardoor de standaard-snaar nét te kort is. Naast een goede analyse van het probleem kreeg ik per omgaande een andere set snaren toegestuurd (ander merk, andere lengte), advies welke snaren wél passend zouden zijn en bericht wanneer ze de meest geschikte snaren op voorraad hebben. Fantastische service!

What a great service. I asked advice for an instrument that was a bit unusual, that I want to play in a tuning that is quite unusual.
Carl came up with two options, and he gave me the right arguments so that I could choose for the one or the other set. I have not been helped so good with an online purchase for ages.
So: let us all take care that professionals and music-lovers like this have a good business!
the layout of the site is perhaps not too userfriendly. but compared to the above, this should be a minor disadvantage

Fast and surprisingly cheap shipping, excellent customer service, good selection of strings and better prices than most. Also, unlike most online stores their system for letting the customer know the number of items in stock actually WORKS! This can avoid considerably delays by simply reducing the number of items to the actual number they have in stock. Absolutely brilliant and one of the reasons I keep coming back.

My only complaints are that they don't sell Pyramid strings (particularly the amazing Golds) and that the website could benefit from better search/filter options. As minimum I would have expected filters options for gauges, flatwound/roundwound and scale length (for bass guitar). For even better filtering options there might have been options for wrap material, round/hex core, ball end/loop end and coated/uncoated.

Apart from these very minor complaints: PERFECT!

Ideaal voor gitaristen die zelf snarensets samenstellen.

Per mail al een tijdje geleden gevraagd of ik "ball end" snaren kan toepassen op mijn akoestische gitaar, had ik nog nooit eerder gebruikt en het leek me een stuk handiger dan het knopen van de snaren. Hierop kreeg ik een zeer uitgebreid advies en nog enkele vergelijkbare en toepasbare snaren als ik uit nog meer wilde kiezen. En dat voor een product van nog geen tientje. Onlangs gekocht; bezorging gaat per brievenbuspost en evenals eerdere bestellingen verloopt dat allemaal prima. Zeer goed bedrijf dus!
