Another refund nightmare

Another refund nightmare. Acknowledged receipt of my returns, did not credit my credit card in a timely manner as promised. Blamed the warehouse . I waited another 10 days. No refund. Told to follow up later. I finally filed a dispute via my credit card company. This was the only thing that compelled them to provide a refund. The worst customer service. And I got a lecture on my choice to escalate.

Le déclin d'une compagnie canadienne

Il est tellement dommage que cette compagnie Canadienne offre un service à la clientèle n'étant pas digne des critères auxquels la majorité des compagnies d'ici offrent à leur clientèle. Cette marque de manteau fait preuve d'une rigidité déconcertante quant à leur politique de retours/échanges d'achats effectués en ligne. Avec le service à la clientèle de Mackage, le client n'a pas de voix, même lors de situations qui ne dépendent pas de son contrôle. Une marque de manteau que j'ai toujours appréciée pour la qualité de confection/tissus, mais avec l'expérience client que je viens d'avoir avec eux, et la déception d'avoir reçu un item beaucoup trop petit que ce que leurs mensurations indiquaient clairement, sans aucune possibilité d'échanges ou même de crédits portés à mon compte, je peux vous affirmer sans aucune hésitation que c'est mon dernier achat avec eux. Extrêmement dommage et décevant pour Mackage Canada. Je remarque aussi que la compagnie ne semble plus conserver les coupes/couleurs très chics et classes qui ont fait d'elle son renom. J'imagine qu'à force de tenter à tout prix de se réinventer, certaines compagnies finissent par en oublier l'essentiel, autant dans la qualité de leurs produits que dans l'écoute de leurs clients. Tant pis.

2nd review and hopefully some help for you!

This is my second review & advice for anyone trying to get a refund,

After two months of endless emailing and chasing,
Constantly being told they were waiting on the warehouse.

I discovered my bank Lloyds - also did charge back on debit card purchases, ( not just credit card)
I contacted them provided proof and they refunded me, Finally, I had my money back,
They obviously started chasing Mackage,
Who then contested my refund via the bank.
But suddenly managed to complete my return and issue a refund?? It’s a miracle…

So to anyone chasing a refund. Please contact your bank and see what they can do to help,
Because it looks like the moment they get involved things mysteriously manage to progress at their end,

I also think we should all be reporting to trading standards, because something is not right with this company..
Good luck to anyone fighting for their money back

Worst customer service ever

After only about 2 months of wearing my brand new Mackage coat, the zipper stopped working. I tried several times to get in touch with customer service and finally was directed to an online form. It took several tries (seriously almost 45 minutes) to size the images correctly in order to ask for them to look at my jacket. During this time what I assume was a chat bot was attempting to help with the photo size issue. It was not helpful at all.

After 3 days I received an email they told me I could send in my coat to be examined, but it had to be received in 1 week. I had to pay to mail it in, and they would the have it for 1-3 months (if they even determined they would fix it). Given how cold it was this winter I could not go that long without a coat and would have had to buy another winter coat to get me through 3 months without this one.

Considering the amount of money these coats cost this was truly a disappointing customer experience and I will NEVER shop with them again and will make sure no one I know wastes their hard earned money on this brand.

Unacceptable Customer Service

My experience has been extremely disappointing and unacceptable, during what should have been a straightforward return process. Instead of resolving the return issue efficiently, the situation turned into over two months of frustration marked by repeated assurances, delays, and no meaningful progress on the matter. The lack of effective communication, responsibility, and follow-through has made this process unnecessarily stressful and time-consuming, all while Mackage continue to retain my money. I will have to seek alternative solution and further escalation if I still don’t receive my refund.

I should have read the reviews before buying items from this company.
I cannot comment on quality, and so far I have enjoyed wearing the puffer vest I bought.
However, omg, customer service is beyond the pail! I have been asking for a refund for 2 orders after a month, still waiting to receive money back, and when I complained of the fraudulent behaviour to my payment organisation, customer service had the audacity to get back to me for the first time after a month saying that the issue of the refund was not their problem!! Whose is it, then? Maybe they need to hire literate custome service staff?

Disappointing experience with Mackage.

I returned two orders worth £4380 over 8 weeks ago and have still not received my refund. Mackage’s policy states refunds are issued within 7–10 working days, which has clearly not been honoured.

What is also concerning is the contradictory information from customer service. I was first told:

“The warehouse has now fully processed both of your returns. The refund should normally be issued by the end of this week. The team is aware of the delay and the situation has been escalated.”

Shortly afterwards, I received another email saying:

“Please ignore the previous message. The warehouse has not processed your return yet; it just takes some time to be fully completed. Normally, the refund would be processed by the end of the week.”

Yet I had confirmation emails saying they had received my return 8 weeks ago.

After this, customer service stopped responding.

Also an absolute nightmare trying to actually send the returns with FedEx - the pre made return label doesn’t scan at FedEx locations and then many back and forth emails to get a commercial invoice for FedEx to accept the return.

I am now forced to escalate this through my bank to recover my money. I would not recommend purchasing from Mackage until these refund issues are resolved. I can’t believe they are holding so many people’s money!

Nonexistent service.

Ordered 2 coats from Mackage over a week ago. Approximately I have spent about 2000 pounds, having ordered different sizes.
I am yet to receive any product from Mackage at all in terms of delivery.
The items have been now ‘returned to shipper’, which has only been established because of the tracking information available.

I have received absolutely no further communication from Mackage whatsoever.

Emails sent to the address which customers are directed to on the website are merely bounced back.

The phone number for the shop in Roermond (where the item is originating from) goes straight to voicemail.

The lack of customer care and service is an utter embarrassment, particularly because they are selling such high end products and holding my cash!

Reading the reviews here and seeing the problems I am encountering with just getting something delivered, is enough to put me off ever ordering from them again.
I dread to think about attempting to initiate a refund of any kind, if it’s going to be a monstrous challenge.
Extremely disappointing service for such a high end brand.

This company can improve by paying back customers once they have returned items. This company seriously needs investigating judging by the dreadful comments on here. I have rang, emailed, no out come, no one is listening. I don’t want to discuss with a robot anymore. So I will have to go down other avenues to get my Money back.

Refund problems

On January 3, 2026 I purchased a coat from Mackage online and when I received the coat it was too big. I returned it to them immediately for a smaller size however when the smaller size arrived it was too small around the breast area so I also returned it immediately through fedex and followed the return policy as stated. I’ve have been emailing and calling customer service since then for my refund and all I could hear from the representative is that the warehouse is processing my refund. On February 02,2026 I received an email from them that my refund was processed and $0.00 was returned to my bank. I paid $1506.00 for the coat that was processed to my bank account. I emailed them for clarification no response yet. I also called them and the representative is telling me that it was a glitch in the system and she will follow up with the warehouse in processing a refund. She will email me in 24-48 hours regarding my refund. Guys do not buy anything from this company. I felt like I was scammed. For a big company like this it’s just disgusting how they deal with their customers. This is not my first time purchasing an item from Mackage however this was my first time returning an item to them. I’m in the process of calling my bank and file a dispute and also getting my lawyer involved. This is a rip off. If I had seen these review before I wouldn’t have purchased anything from them. Shame on them..

My experience mirrors many of the other negative reviews here. Returning the item via FedEx was unnecessarily difficult, but the bigger issue is the refund. I’ve been waiting over a month with no sign of it.

The company acknowledges my emails and repeatedly says the package is in their warehouse awaiting inspection, yet nothing ever progresses. At this point, I’ve lost all confidence that a refund will be issued. A really disappointing experience, I would strongly advise avoiding this company.

Do not buy from this company

Do not buy from this company. I returned a coat and received an email to say they had received it. It has now been 2 months and they still haven't issued my refund. Customer service has been exceptionally poor- they keep saying they are awaiting confirmation from the warehouse. I will be contacting my credit card provider for fraud.

SCAM !!!!

SCAM !!!!! Don’t ever buy from this brand ! Bought a jacket online £1099 , didn’t like the fit and returned via FEDEX ( thanks God for that ) after two months I have still not received my money back ! Every time you email them they send you the same automatic response !! I’ve raised the dispute with my bank to see if I can have my money! SCAM 🚨SCAM 🚨SCAM 🚨

Totally shocked by Mackage and there…

Totally shocked by Mackage and there lack of communication for my refund of £2580. They emailed me on the 1st of December2025 to say the items had been received back to them and would issue a refund with in 7-10day as of today date 14/01/2026 I have still not received my refund. This amounts to nothing more than theft of my money from Mackage and I have been left with no other option than to report it as frued to my credit card provider. Please please do not purchase from this company

Won't buy again, please don't buy

I expected a smooth customer experience from Mackage, but the returns/refund process was frustrating from start to finish. The website doesn’t allow you to easily complete a return, and you’re forced to contact support just to get a shipping label. It took several days just to receive the label, and the refund took a very long time after I returned the item. Overall it felt disorganized and not up to standard for a premium brand. I won’t be ordering again.
