We have been experiencing concerns around suggestions for the rebuild of our conservatory roof. Our builder intended to use a Korniche lantern. Yesterday we contacted Korniche/Made for Trade directly to seek their guidance and clarification around the 'sales pitch' we were receiving for products to be used alongside the Korniche Lantern. It is important to stress our concerns were not about the Korniche Lantern. The two employees we spoke to from Made for Trade could not have been more helpful. They have gone above and beyond what many companies would do to indirectly support a customer. This morning we received a phone call to further underscore their guidance before 10 a.m They have even put us in contact with another fitter of their product to enable us to 'pick their brains.' The infill product or builder intended to use may not be correct but we have absolutely no doubt or concerns about the actual lantern structure. We would advise any one to take a look at Korniche products. An outstanding company with which to deal.

The experience with Made for Trade has been 100% perfect, James McDougall the Customer advisor was incredibly helpful and responded to my query very promptly. We have been immensely impressed with the service and the products from MFT and would always use them again. We ordered bifold doors and there was a delay due to COVID but we had updates which was really helpful and when the doors arrived and fitted we were delighted with the overall effect and quality of the doors. The handle was damaged but on making a call to MFT this was immediately rectified and another handle has been posted out to me with updates on the delivery and a lovely message from James who sorted out the problem. I would thoroughly recommend MFT for the quality of goods and the friendly, helpful customer services which nowadays is a rarity and wonderful that if there are any queries that one can actually speak with someone who is competent and helpful. Thankyou again MFT you are a brilliant company to deal with and you are definitely our number one supplier in the future and l have already recommended you to other businesses who l know will be pleasantly surprised at the quality of products and the service you supply.

We buy or bifolds from Made For Trade and they are top quality. But if anything has gone wrong with them their customer service are amazing. Always sort everything out straight away and happy to help. Great company to buy from

Well organised ordering sheet explaining the important measurements. Had questions on the fitting which Lois sorted out straight away, even sending the fir tree clips foc that we damaged.
Every piece clicks into place like a jigsaw & looks fab.
The blue glass gives a great finish...
Happy customer, happy fitter... It's like Ronseal re-born..

A couple of months ago I was looking for a 3 x 1.5m lantern for an out building refurbishment and considered a number of options including Korniche. As a former engineer I avoid self tapping screws and silicone where possible so your lantern stood out from the crowd with its cone washers, engineered screws and minimum requirement for silicone.

I was very impressed when it arrived and even more impressed when it came to installation. Construction could not have been easier or more exact. The Youtube video is such a good idea and a must watch for anyone installing a lantern for the first time.

An excellent product which I would use again if the opportunity presents itself and I will have no hesitation recommending it to others.

They say a company is defined by how well they deal with issues, and whilst we only had a small issue (a broken piece of glass in transit which can happen to anyone), the guys at MFT dealt with it quickly and sorted the problem within a couple of hours, putting our customers' mind at ease, and highlighting just how fab these guys are.
Laura in the office deserves a special mention for being amazing - she is a credit to the company. Thank you to all at MFT :)

We have had an issue with one of our customers and a Lantern Roof they have received. I got in touch with James McDougall who was incredibly helpful and professional in giving advice to both myself, and our customer. Our customer also really appreciated the call direct from supplier as it showed a real duty of care. James has identified which parts are faulty and has arranged for some replacements to be sent out quickly by post. He dealt with the entire enquiry quickly and efficiently.

Hi All,
I ordered my five leaf bi folds from MFT with a four week lead time and they were spot on. Doors now fitted and look great.
Glass to be delivered one week later and they were spot on with the delivery dates. We noticed after the driver had gone and we stared fitting the panels there was a very bad scratch in one of the panels so i rang the help desk and they asked me to send pictures and the panel details, that same day i had an email from Laura at the help desk to say the panel would be re-made and delivered FOC the following week and it did. All i can say is what a fantastic product and what a brilliant service. My thanks to Laura at MFT and the glass supply company.

Dealt with customer services, regarding extra fir clips for my roof lantern. Laura, who I spoke to couldn't have been more helpful sorting out exactly what I needed, and also free of charge!

I would actually like to rate this company zero stars
Ordered a roof lantern in early May, long lead time delivery was scheduled for 14th July , this wasn’t a problem we arranged the rest of the build and trades around that date..

Today 30th July the lantern is still not fitted 🤬 first excuse was it was in Bristol depot then 4/7 parts arrived, messed about for a week being told coming next day next day , still nothing . Then MFT agreed to re manufacturer missing parts and deliver this was scheduled for Tuesday 27th Wednesday 28th . Parts arrived 29th WRONG SIZE PARTS . James in customer service and Kevin both gave apologies and said human error in unprecedented times !! I couldn’t be more angry if I tried .
Remanufactured 29th for courier delivery and guaranteed for AM today 30th July
No delivery arrived
Emailed and telephoned throughout the day for update or couriers direct contact . 15.57 ( just before office closed ) received an email saying driver 5 drops away and they deliver till 5..

Still not received
16 days after original delivery date

Too many mistakes unnecessary stress

Would not recommend this company

I have been using Made for Trade now for several months and the company is great. the complete service from quoting to delivery has been excellent as is the quality of the products.

Giving the times that we are living, MFT are still on great lead times, product and services. Very good service and fast respond times.

Recently dealt with Laura in customer services regarding replacement rubber for a bi-fold. Can't thank Laura enough excellent service and really quick on delivery.

We have just installed our first Korniche Roof Lantern and given that it was approx. 5.2m x 2.7m with 14 No. DG Units, it was certainly a big one to start with. Any apprehension and worry was quickly dissolved once we realised how well designed and put together these kits are and I, with 40+ years in the glazing / glass industry and with a careful eye for detail and engineering, am suitably impressed. Given the size of the roof lantern, and that this was our first attempt, we had a three-man team on the day and were comfortably finished by 3pm. There was a minor hiccup, with one small length of gasket missing, but that was delivered direct to site the day after we reported it. So really can't fault the quality of the product, the lead-time, the overall service and indeed the after-sales back-up. Only thing to see about now is the weather-tightness, but given the forecast over the next week or so, it's going to be well and truly tested -
Well done MFT /Aanco and your staff - I firmly believe that you have something of a gem with this product.

Made for Trade have been a great supplier over the years. On the rare occasion we have had an issue its been dealt with efficiently.

The Korniche Lantern is the best Lantern on the market. Full stop.

MFT is a fantastic company, the help team is always ready to assist, the sales team is extremely fast with quoting and coming back to you with any changes. I have been using them for over a year for my bi-fold doors and roof lanterns, just a very well-rounded respectable organization.
