Magellan GPS Opiniones 

Do not buy any type of Magellan GPS product. I bought a Yamaha Adventure Pro and have had nothing but problems since day one. Yamaha customer service was great and replaced my unit on two different occasions. The GPS units continually lock up in the start up screen. These units fail after one or two outings. When my 3rd unit failed, I contacted Magellan. What a mistake, after sending pictures of the screen and trying remedies they suggested, Magellan admitted the unit is bad and said “Yes, it is defective”. This is after over 15 emails to them asking for help. Their next response was to say “ Yes it is defective, but not our problem, take it to some one else” When I complained that it is their unit and they should take care of the problem, they said,” Sorry that is our policy , sorry for the inconvenience, please consider purchasing another Magellan product. UNREAL !! AVOID purchasing a MAGELLAN GPS product at all costs!! This company does not stand behind it’s products, and has NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

Meine Bewertung bezieht sich auf Magellan Mobille Mapper 6 - PDA MDE Controler Handheld GPS GNSS mit Windows CE 5.0.
Schon die verfügbaren Manuals Betriebsanleitungen Handbook Handbuch Referencmanual sind äußerst bescheiden im Umfang und bei Troubleshutting Problembehebung.
Hilfs-Software download suport gibt es nicht oder ist nicht auffindbar. ActiceSync das angeblich bis zu Microsoft Actice Sync 3.7.1 unterstützt wird ist nicht aufzutreiben - Microsoft hat die links gelöscht und Magellan Ashtech Thales hat nicht darauf reagiert - dabei handelt sich es um nötige und frei zugängliche Software. Bei Symbol Motorola MDE (ich habe den MC 9094 - Barcodescanner / Handheld PC Dataloger) sieht es da sehr viel besser aus - meine Version hat aber keinen GPS Receiver Empfänger integriert. Deswegen nun der Mobile Mapper von Magellan Thales Ashtech. Er ist leider nicht mit Syncronisationssoftware zu meinem Windows OS ausgestattet - auch die sonstige Software beschränkt sich auf GPS Navilösung ohne irgendwas weiter - weder für den PC noch für den Datalogger selbst. Also will ich GPS GNSS GIS Application Software installieren - aber das scheitert nun schon an der fehlenden Syncronisation und dem fehlenden Support Information im www Internet.
Das Gerät ist ein Profigerät (also kein simples Navi - aber die professionelle Unterstützung fehlt vollends.
