It is said that Italian tailors are amongst the best in the world and the team at Magic Stitches reinforce that perception. They’re good - very good. Over 6 weeks, the team have tapered 3 pairs of trousers for me, along with making alterations to 2 of my jackets - one made of leather. Every single one of these items has been done to my complete satisfaction, hence my repeated return. The experience hasn’t been expensive either; prices have consistently been very reasonable. Taking the items in has also been an enjoyable experience, as good customer service has been blended with touches of humour, which have been very much appreciated. I can fully recommend their tailoring services to other men; they don’t just do bridal dress alterations, as 1st glance at their website may suggest. My only regret is that l didn’t find them sooner. It was only through sitting at the lights in traffic that l noticed their premises as l looked across the road. I will be back!

What a perfect experience from the re designing my dress to fit me perfectly. On the last dress fit we had tweaks and tucks and nothing was to much trouble magic stitches went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and completely happy for my special day. Amazing people and top class service. Magic stitches was recommended to me by my dress shop in York ! Luckily it was local. The team were so welcoming and professional the service was sleek and quick. The price was really reasonable. I felt super reassured that my dress was in safe hands and Franco really knew what he was doing. Roberta was lovely and helped me into the dress and fastened it up Franco gave me recommendations on what would be most flattering. I picked my dress up today and it’s perfect. thanks guys. Absolutely first class service from Franco and the team - so professional and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Catered to my four bridesmaids dresses as well as mine. Steamed and showed me how to box for my destination wedding. Super friendly, would definitely recommend!

I can not fault the staff at magic stitches, the studio is stunning, we went in for alterations to my daughters prom dress, they made her feel like a princess from the moment she walked in to collecting the dress today. I will definitely be recommending to friends and family.

Honestly a terrible experience. I felt rushed and ignored. The staff didn’t listen to anything I said and just kept telling me it looked fine when it clearly didn’t

I don’t normally leave reviews but I have to this time. Paid a lot for something that just wasn’t done properly. Hem was uneven and they didn’t seem to care when I pointed it out.

Waited weeks for my dress and when I finally picked it up it still didn’t fit right. Had to take it somewhere else last minute. Waste of time and money
