Ordered a hoe a month ago. Still not received it for my husband's birthday. Also paid for gift wrapping. Numerous emails later, I was told it would arrive last week. Still no delivery. Try to ring them and never answer the phone. Really poor customer service.

Tree arrived 15 days from ordering and after multiple messages asking for a delivery update but no response. The cherry tree that arrived was a lot younger than I was expecting. Much skinnier and barely the 180 of the 180-210cms height. And very wilted. Not sure if it will survive. Again no response from MOT

So delighted with our flowering cherry tree, bigger than expected and very healthy tree packaged very well, 1st class would highly recommend thank you very much

I purchased a prunus cherry tree on line it came after about 2 weeks but the shape of the branches was extremely disappointing, so I emailed and asked to return the tree, I’m still waiting nearly 4 weeks on now I’m told they don’t have a van in my area to collect it, looks like I need to take further advice to get a refund, I wouldn’t ever order again anything I can’t actually see

I’ve ordered trees on multiple occasions from this company over the last few years. I was happy with all the trees I’ve been sent and they are growing happily in my garden now. When I had an issue with one of the trees, Julie has provided an exceptional customer service - responding to my emails almost immediately, offering advice and a solution to the issue I’ve been experiencing. The best customer service I’ve received in a while! Will happily order from this company again.

Ordered a tree and was given a date it was allegedly going to be shipped out to arrive the next day.
Nearly 2 weeks passed since the said date, despite numerous emails sent on my behalf I have received no reply.
Forced to initiate dispute with bank to obtain a refund.
Customer service non existent.

I received the most beautiful specimen of a crab apple - Laura today. I bought it in remembrance of my late husband who died from Covid in 2021 and a dear friend who died in 2024. My daughter Sarah had purchased the same variety a couple years ago which is now stunning and she highly recommended this company. The tree is an excellent size and was delivered safely today in super condition as promised by Chris the companies own driver. I cannot understand the few poor reviews about Mail order trees mainly complaining about delays in delivery. If you read the companies information they do stipulate that they are a small company and often at the mercy of the weather. They also state that delivery aims for 7 to 10 days but it can be as late as several weeks. My tree was an exceptional price for the size and quality.it would be twice as much at my local nursery. I was kept informed throughout the purchase of delivery date and it arrived on time as promised. On another note if you are looking for a crab apple for a smaller garden- Laura if for you. She has upright growth and doesn’t grow very tall. Her bark is a rich shiny red brown and her purple leaves compliment the deep red/ purple fruits which the birds love. The spring blossom is delightful and loved by the bees. And she is so generous with her fruit that we are still eating last autumns crab apple jelly from my daughters tree. Highly recommended by a very keen experienced amateur gardener -me.

Have recently bought my second Ceanothus Trewithen Californian Lilac from Mail Order Trees. On both occasions have been perfectly happy with the purchase transactions etc. However, my most recent tree purchase, after12 months, are showing the branches are drooping very severely and touching the ground. I have telephoned the company on two occasions in the last three weeks for their advice. On both occasion's I have had to leave a voice message with my query, leaving my tel number etc as required. As yet I have still not received a reply to resolve my query. Disappointed with the company’s non response on both occasions!

I’ve had a great first time experience with Mail Order Trees, I placed an order for 2 prunus accolade cherry blossoms on the 14th of April and they got delivered on the 2nd of May by their own deliver driver Chris. The trees arrived in wonderful condition and look like really healthy specimens. I’ll be honest I started getting worried when I was reading some of the reviews about how long they would take to arrive or that staff don’t get back to you but a lady called Julie emailed me and reassured me that they wouldn’t take long and that they would be with me in no time, just under a week after that email and they arrived.

I will use mail order trees again in the future.

I ordered a Hebe albicans on March 18th and have heard nothing since. I have sent emails to follow up, but have received zero response. Extremely disappointed with the lack of customer service. I am now forced to resolve this via a bank chargeback. Avoid if you expect communication.

The quality of the trees is perfectly all right. The problem was that they sent me the wrong trees. They were supposed to be one sort of ornamental cherry but actually was something else. The worst part of our entire experience was trying to contact them and get a response from them. If you phone you get an answering machine, so you leave a message. If you email them they do after a long time respond. But to get back in contact with him, you have to go through the same dilatory process. Their customer service is absolutely dreadful, and should thoroughly be examined and re-constituted, so it actually serves the customer.

Yeah, might have a written a review for this lot a few years ago but felt compelled to go again. They can be a bit late sending trees out but it's always worth the wait. The quality and size for the price are outstanding. We buy a lot of trees online and it can be a bit hit and miss, many are smaller than we'd like, maybe not strong leaders, smaller pots, poorly packaged; but down the years Mail Order Trees have been consistently excellent, supplying quality trees which invariably get off to a quick start.

Great product and lovely customer service experience. The tree I ordered was a beautiful specimen and was delivered with care. I will absolutely be using them again for future purchases.

Tree delivered late. Tree not in pot all dried out box crushed and torn. contacted via email Terrible reply tried to phone 10 times, left message,Guess what no contact or further email from Pauline. £80 down the drain. Keep your fingers crossed you might be lucky. I did intend to buy more trees Pity the Owner is unavailable for explanation !!!

They delivered on time letting us know when to expect the tree.
