Title: Repeated Wrong Items, Zero Customer Service — Avoid MakariEU

Review:
I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with MakariEU. This is now the second time they have deliberately sent me products I NEVER ordered, and they completely ignore customer emails.

My first experience was in September 2025 (Order #25829EU). I ordered 3 Extreme Argan & Carrot Oil Tone Boosting Gel. Instead, they sent 2, and added a product I did not order: Multi-Action Extreme Glow Revitalizing Face Cream SPF 15. I emailed them repeatedly — no response at all.

Today, my second order (Order #35607EU) arrived, and they have done the exact same thing again. While checking out, this same unwanted product kept adding itself to my basket. I removed it multiple times and even left a note saying clearly: “Please do NOT add this product to my order.”

Despite that, they still adjusted my order:

I ordered 2 Exclusive Tone Boosting Gel — only 1 was packed.

They added a Makari Even Tone Brightening Deodorant I never ordered.

I ordered 3 Extreme Argan & Carrot Oil Tone Boosting Gel, and they still changed my order.

This shows a pattern:
✓ Wrong items sent
✓ Missing items
✓ Unwanted items added
✓ Emails completely ignored

Consumers deserve honesty and fulfilment of what they pay for. My experience shows that MakariEU does not respect that. Please check your orders carefully if you buy from them.

You can also avoid that website. MakariEU to be on safe side.

My name is Anthonia and I use Makari products regularly. However on my order number 79187, one of the items purchased - Naturalle Carotonic Extreme Glow Renewing Face Serum had a faulty pump dispenser so it means i will not be able to use that product. Does this mean Makari products are no more reliable especially since it is used in delicate parts of our body? This is extremely disturbing. I have never had this issue when i buy from outside vendors carrying Makari products. I was extremely disturbed and I trashed the item. I will like my money back please.

Product not original

I’ve been a loyal user of Makari Day Radiance Face Cream and Blue Crystal Revivify Beauty Bar for over three years, so I know exactly how it should look, smell, and feel. Unfortunately, the face cream product I received was nothing like the genuine version the seal was off, the colour and scent were noticeably different, and I immediately suspected something wasn’t right. Regrettably, I applied it anyway, thinking perhaps it was just a reformulation. Within days, my skin began to burn, tiny spots appeared, and my complexion darkened a deeply distressing reaction, especially from a brand I once trusted. Reading through other reviews, it’s clear I’m not alone. There are numerous one-star ratings describing similar experiences, which raises serious concerns about counterfeit products being sold under the Makari name. This is unacceptable, particularly for a company dealing with sensitive skincare. I’ve reached out to customer service and am currently awaiting a response. I expect a full refund and resolution otherwise, I’ll be escalating the matter further. Customers deserve transparency, safety, and respect. This experience has been both disappointing and alarming.

Don’t Shop on This Website!

I want to warn people about shopping on this website. They carry fake Makari products that can damage your skin. When I reached out to their customer service, I didn’t get a response for a month. When they finally replied, they suggested the product might just "not agree with my skin anymore."

Now, you might wonder about the smell and texture – I’ve been an avid Makari user for years, so I can tell when something’s off. These products were clearly not the real deal.

For those they’re familiar with, they might send authentic products, but it’s not worth the risk. Please be careful!

Last Time

This is the second time in a row that Makari Germany sent me a wrong order. Customer service is so pathetic to say the least. It takes at least two days for one to receive a response on WhatsApp. The chatbot on the official website is a sheer waste of time. I don't want to keep going through the same circle of sending back wrong orders. This is my last order. There are plenty similar but cheaper skincare products on the market.

I ordered on the 10th of December from…

I ordered on the 10th of December from the Dagenham store and my order never shipped. When I called on the 16th “Josh” was so so rude and unpleasant on the phone. From the way he answered the phone through to when he ended the call was ridiculously rude.

I called back the next day and he kept giving blunt answers when all I wanted was an update regarding my order. They have zero customer service and do not know how to speak to customers. They even answer the phone saying “hello what you need” absolutely ridiculous. Josh later messaged me to say he will cancel the order and refund my money because I queried about an item I paid for.

I will not be ordering from them ever again.

Refused to acknowledge emails, refund and replacement

The customer service experience used to be good. I don't understand what the situation is lately. I have a package which was stolen after being delivered despite leaving instructions for the courier company. The courier company missed my deliveryinsttructions and delivered the package unattended. I contacted Makari customer service, but they haven't responded for about 10 business days now. I also have another package which was returned to Makari by the courier company due to delivery instruction error and Makari is yet to refund my money for the products in their possession. Its been delivered for more than 4 business days and still Makari has yet to issue a refund or replacement or even acknowledge all my emails and messages.

Now, I hope I can switch from their products only if I know which product to try for melanin skin.

I started using Makari products over a…

I started using Makari products over a year ago. However, their product has been okay, but the customer service is rubbish. I have had 2x orders where the product was damaged due to improper packaging. The last order I had was on 1/11/23 with a damaged product. I have sent numerous messages to customer service with pictures but have still not received my refund or a re-shipment of the damaged product. This is unacceptable.

Makari carrot cream used to be good on my skin however I'm now getting white patches almost everywhere in my body. I have contacted makari, I even send them photo of my skin to prove it but they didn't do nothing. Not to apologise or send me a gift card for the inconvenience instead they just shut me out. Is not fair.
