Purchased the pack of 10 x10oz…
Purchased the pack of 10 x10oz sirloins, 10 x 6 oz fillet with free 35oz tomahawk.
Where to start.?? Sirloins Only 2 came close to 10 ounces the rest were below. Cooked 2 and gave 2 to a friend. Both agreed standard was nowhere near sirloin, in fact I will dice the remainder and stew them to hopefully get some tenderness from them. Fillet steaks also below weight with one of them less than 3 ounces. On the plus side they were edible, but definitely not fillet standard.
The tomahawk is in the freezer, where it will likely stay till I get sick looking at it and bin it.
Now, in fairness the whole lot only cost £90 plus delivery, so I knew it was likely questionable, but in my defence the company had good trust pilot reviews.
Sadly, I cannot recommend this company and would never purchase from them again.

Failed Delivery from a shabby company.
Do not expect your order on time, my order arrived a day late and I was not around to take delivery. When I contacted the company they could not have cared less. A chap called "Michael" who clearly thought he was writing a theatrical novel (badly) rather than a response to a mail order query, advised that he was sorry for the one day delay, however this was due to his butcher waiting for delivery of "some wonderful local pork" as he wanted to ensure it was perfect for my Christmas meal. In other words he was covering up the fact that they forgot my order and needed to throw it together.

When you placed your order, you selected Click & Collect, with collection from our farm shop on 29 September. This important detail is missing from your review.
When you contacted us that morning expecting a delivery, we replied immediately. Once it became clear that you had selected the wrong fulfilment option at checkout, we explained that your order would be dispatched that day for delivery on 30 September. Several shipping notifications followed by email and SMS.
We apologised to acknowledge your disappointment and keep the conversation focused on getting your order to you. That apology was not an admission that we had missed an agreed delivery date: your order had been booked for collection, not courier delivery.
Our explanation about the local pork was genuine. We firmly reject the suggestion that we had forgotten your order and needed to put it together at the last minute.
We respect every customer’s right to leave critical feedback, but we also have a responsibility to correct an account that leaves out relevant facts. We responded promptly to your enquiry, explained the delivery arrangements before dispatch and would have held your order had you let us know in time that delivery the following day was unsuitable. We do not believe those actions support the claim that we “could not have cared less”.
Public reviews help people make informed decisions, which is why they need to reflect the experience accurately. We do not get everything right every time, and when we make a mistake, we take responsibility. On this occasion, however, we had not missed your order or an agreed delivery date; we arranged delivery after you told us that collection was not what you had intended.

Great quality meat at very reasonable prices. We had been buying supermarket meat until I purchased a steak pack from Malpas we haven’t been back to the supermarket for meat since, Xmas box already purchased. Delivery is quick and the meat comes in a cooler bag with ice so is in good condition. I wish I had found them sooner.

Form ordering to delivery
Form ordering to delivery, we were kept fully informed.
The meats came in a thermally insulated bag, worth plenty of ice packs, which were still semi-frozen.
We have only had the Barnsley chops so far but they were full of flavour and tender.
Looking forward to trying the rib of beef next!

We ordered Malpas' £99 steak bundle as advertised on Facebook: ten fillets, ten ribeyes and a (giant!) tomahawk, not really sure what to expect as the offer seemed too good to be true....
But the meat arrived two days later, superbly packaged in an insulated bag with ice packs and was exactly as advertised. We were very impressed.
So far we have had a couple of fillets and a couple of ribeyes: all were absolutely lovely.
So, if you are wondering whether to give Malpas Farm Shop a try, go ahead with confidence.

I ordered my first order from malpas farm shop,it was the 10 10oz sirloin steaks,10 6oz fillet steaks and i got a tomahawk steak free al for £99.Now that to me is a cracking deal because 1 decent 10oz sirloin is about £7 or £8.The delivery was very fast,it came well packed in box with 2 frozen packs to keep the meat cold and fresh.I had my tomahawk the other day it was lovely,All my other steaks are in the freezer.I cannot wait have them.When my steaks are gone i will be ordering again from malpas farm shop,brilliant service from ordering to been delivered.

BBQ success
I first used Malpas a couple of months ago taking advantage of one of their offers, I bought lamb chops, sirlion and fillet of beef. All were excellent particularly chops. Then last weekend we were planning a BBQ for 30 people so i ordered lamb chops, sausages and some burgers. People especially raved about the chops but the sausages also dissappeared in a flash. A few sought Malpas contact details. Food and service are first class. PS my last order also included a surprise packet of bacon 1kg I think, delicious went through half of it within a day.

Ordered a selection of sausages and steak and wow!
The breakfast sausages are amazing, as are the other flavours! The steaks were incredible, nothing like the supermarket! Easy to un-pack portion out and place into freezer bags...I even bought another under counter freezer...lol! Always arrives well packed and on time, would highly recommend...

Two tomahawk steaks ordered
Two tomahawk steaks ordered. Two delivered promptly. Both individually packed and both had a lot of myoglobin in the vac pacs. Too much for my liking.
I cooked one yesterday using reverse sear method to a perfect medium rare. The meat was flavoursome and tender.
Malpas offer good value for money and I would order again.

Another outstanding experience from…
Another outstanding experience from Malpas! Firstly outstanding value such a low price for 2 huge loins of pork the key factor making it exceptional was the quality of the beautiful pork! I cut one loin into 2 loins one small approx 1/3 of the loin and a lager loin for a family gathering. The other loin was cut into 12 thick juicy steaks. Had 2 of the steaks last night, they were beautiful haven’t had pork as good as that for a long time. I’ve said it before and I say it again with produce of this quality it really is yours to screw up!!!!😉
