Where do I start, there’s no words to say how grateful I am to Ibrahim and his unwavering support. After being assured by my previous solicitor that they would support me whilst divorcing the most narcissistic person ever I was let down greatly. I tried to get through to them that my ex would play every game and push every boundary but all they cared about was the £300 an hour.

After reaching the point of having to give up, I phoned every solicitor possible to ask for help but no one could. Luckily enough someone mentioned a McKenzie Friend and I’m so so glad they did.

I poured my heart out to Ibrahim detailing the type of person my ex was and to my surprise he was prepared to help me. Being a single mum having to leave the family home with my son I really needed someone to listen to me.

Ibrahim is extremely professional and understanding at the same time. When processes took longer than expected Ibrahim would explain why and what the outcome would be. Sometimes I just had to be patient and believe in Ibrahim and oh my gosh all I can say is that I’m so glad I did.

Ibrahim is a true angel and I will forever be grateful for his support.

Absolutely DO NOT use this man. I don't know how he gets away with taking people's money and not doing anything. He needs to be removed from the mckenzie friends website. He is taking advantage of people when they are at their most vulnerable and he is getting away with it. Please do not believe the positive reviews as I don't believe that they are true.

1 star is generous as far as I’m concerned. I don’t know how this man lives with himself & sleeps at night. Taking advantage of people at their most vulnerable time.
He has no idea how this terrible experience still affects me now months on.
Happily took my dying dads money who helped me out and not return a penny of what is owed back to me after a long drawn out process of wrong information and getting a simple clean break order written up incorrectly meaning it was drawn out even longer.
Makes out he knows what he’s doing and he understands but he is a liar and just wants your money. STAY WELL AWAY.

I had a horrible experience but sounds like I was actually one of the lucky ones compared to some of his other clients.

Earlier today, Ibrahim contacted me directly in reference to my review. He expressed anger and told me he had reported my review to Trustpilot. He also stated that he would not release my personal legal documents until I paid him more money, which I dispute owing.

I find this behaviour extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. I feel he is trying to pressure me into removing or changing my review, and using my documents as leverage. I consider this coercive and retaliatory.

I have reported him to police today.

I was recommended Ibrahim from a very well-respected business advisor friend.

Ibrahim understood my situation instantly, advised me clearly of my options, made a clear plan and acted straight away.

I found his clear, calm communication style and availability via what’s app message / phone call and email very beneficial.

It enabled me to stay focused, build out my evidence clearly and strengthen my personal mindset in preparing for court.

Ibrahim was with me every step of the way.

My outcome thankfully was very positive; it was fully settled the moment it could be and dealt with in a manner that saved me a lot of time and stress.

This was achieved from Ibrahim’s expert understanding of the matter, his guidance, preparation, and firm execution of a very well thought out strategy.

I have no issue in recommending him for anyone else needing help regarding family legal matters.

I went into court up against a goliath legal firm, my instinct was to back down, roll over and try to avoid court as much as possible, however when I begun working with Ibrahim this position changed and we moved into an active position focusing on what was in my childrens best interests. We had a complicated set of challenges, and a ferocious legal team to battle with daily challenges, Ibrahim remained calm and helped me to remain calm, he charted a course for us through the challenging waters and got me to court, next up i had to speak, a daunting task as i have never spoken at length in court before. Despite this he filled me with confidence and kept me positive and child focused. We left court having obtained so many positive outcomes for our children, security moving forward and a chance to plan for our future together as a family. The real winners on the day were my two boys, who for four years have been petitioning be to spend more time with us, and after a long time of trying to negotiate this, and being told by my ex wifes legal team that this would never happen, we walked away from court with a fully equal schedule and 50/50 across the board.

Without the support, guidance and legal prowess from Ibrahim, this would never have happened, and now we have a chance at a full life together as a family, we have hope, and that is something we have not had for many, many years.

On 21st March 2023, my darling eldest son passed away with inoperable brain tumours and 4 days later the woman he married banned me from seeing his two little children. I had heard of Mckenzie friends and when I went on to their website I found Ibrahim Sheikh. I spoke to him and bliss and joy I was speaking to someone who understood the awful predicament I had found myself in. He had also studied up to Barrister level but, due to a totally unforeseen illness, he had to leave the course just a few weeks before qualifying. He is truly a McKenzie friend. When dealing with the court system, one can find there appears to be many McKenzie friends but this is quite often not the case. A so called McKenzie friend is just maybe a friend to support one through the court system but the knowledge and professionalism is absent. With Ibrahim this was not the case.

Ibrahim talked me through the process and, from that moment on, I felt totally confident and in his care. He was compassionate, professional and efficient. Just what I needed in the most difficult time of my life. He has a marvellous way of calming the situation when I am feeling angry and treated unfairly. His efficiency and professionalism was second to none and his attention to detail exemplary. His patience knows no bounds. Although, he lives some 200 miles from me he was never late for an appointment with me at court. The court process, to get to rightfully see my grandchildren, has only taken a little over 2 months. The desired result has been achieved. The courts ruled in my favour!!

I am eternally grateful. Thank you Ibrahim.

Ibrahim was an incredibly lucky find at the eleventh hour, having let my lawyers go due to exorbitant cost. He was so supportive both before and during my LIP court appearance and I would have been lost in the court without him as I was up against a barrister. He was calm and reassuring. Despite not the outcome I had hoped for, I would not hesitate to recommend. His communication and professionalism was just what I needed.

Again another hearing, and he did set my expectation, but I still wanted to go for it - He was right...and I learnt from it...nevertheless least it didn't cost me a bomb to find out like a solicitor would have charged and they would've just string you a long....Ibrahim can predict outcomes ...so lesson learnt. So I do highly recommend him

I contacted McKenzie McKenzie to be supported through quite a messy Child Arrangement case and was allocated to Ibrahim Sheikh. From the first call he talked about how he could support me and the process of court. From start to finish which was 2024 into 2025 there was continual care and contact, support and encouragement. All documentation and court bundles were put together in time and submitted on the dates requested. In court Ibrahim was fully respected by the judge, very professional and very knowledgeable about the process, each stage of court and how we needed to navigate through it. The end result was a great success and without Ibrahim it could have been very different story. I am very sad to read the negative reviews left as this wasn't the guy I dealt with. I hope my review gives you the confidence to contact Ibrahim to help you like he did me.

Why has no one from the legal ombudsman investigated this charlatan Ibrahim Sheikh - he has apparently become a member of the CILEX institute of Paralegals - and seems above board - on his clearly self crafted website -but has taken £900 in September from a friend who is Thai - she is vulnerable and English is not her first language, and done absolutely nothing for it. I have tried to contact him regarding an invoice for any work done and the return of the outstanding money and got quite a mouthful off a very angry Ibrahim. I am now proceeding to the legal ombudsman to see what can be done - DO NOT USE THIS MAN

Avoid this man and company at all costs. He is a criminal in my view and exploitative and manipulative - my experience is that he has done nothing except make me feel more vulnerable and added to trauma and discrimination.

I am reposting my warning about this man which has been echoed by others. This is a WARNING. THIS MAN IS A CRIMINAL.
Stay away from Ibrahim Sheikh, this man is a scam artist. I paid him over £1000 and he never delivered the court documents and got all the court dates wrong. He told me he was busy with other cases and I was was forced court on my own with the incorrect documents he provided. The judge was appalled at his work. I felt so stupid. Ibrahim Sheikh absolutely refused to refund the money I paid for a shoddy non professional service. I’d have been better off doing it myself with no legal knowledge whatsoever. DO NOT ENGAGE THIS MAN.

Brilliant service.
Ibrahim was very professional,knowledgeable and helpful with a kind and caring manner generally. I appreciate the help he gave and would recommend him without hesitation.
Will be contacting him in the future if required.
After a long drawn out difficult situation ibrahim showed empathy and compassion which I am extremely grateful for.
The service received was worth every penny and no unexpected costs were incurred, unlike my previous experience with other legal professionals.

Having read Nkechi Albrow's review on 05/08/24 and Elishia Meade's review of 02/08/24, both accurately reconfirm other negative reviews warning innocent vulnerable people of Ibrahim Sheikh's exploitation. His engagement document also claims his LPC certification is 'pending'. I have spoken to the SRA and been advised such qualifications are never left pending, your either are qualified or not and this joker is definitely unqualified. Walk away, use a genuine lawyer. The business addresses he provides vary on documentation and his web site - all have been contacted and they know nothing of this scammer.

He even claimed to help some big named cases, why would a high-net-worth person use a comedian instead of a qualified lawyer.

On his own web site and the fake positive reviews on Trust Pilot have clearly been crafted by Ibrahim Sheikh himself apparent from the language, the depth the reviews go into and the specific details such as dates they quote.

Other organizations such as The McKenzie Friends Directory have forced Ibrahim Sheikh to remove any association with them from his web site. Ibrahim Sheikh is not regulated and nothing but a grifter. He Has google legal knowledge and is completely uneducated. Walk away and do not give this man a single penny!

Everyone should report this con man to Trading Standards and inform their banks from where money paid to this rip off merhant.

Stay as far away from Mr Ibrahim Sheikh as you can!

I will follow this post with a detailed account of my horrendous experience, but I am dealing with my case alone having paid Ibrahim Sheikh £900 and it is an incredibly stressful time.

He has refunded £450, but kept the other £450 for just 5 cases studies that he provided. A Barrister which I spoke to subsequently, confirmed, which I already knew, I could have got them for free!

He also made a catalogue of errors including filling out the wrong forms, not fully completing them and submitted them late. He scans and puts everything in PDF which meant I had to type out everything all over again.

I requested the original documents, after all I had paid £900 for them, and he refused to provide them (this was before my £450 refund) without me paying him even more money.

Needless to say I was in a much better position before I had the misfortune of meeting, Mr Ibrahim Sheikh.

I had to explain this situation to the High Court and their words were 'he preys on the vulnerable'!

After being woefully let down, we contacted another person, to act as a McKenzie friend and they stated they think we were scammed and warned us of Mr Sheikh's behaviour.

My experience echoes all the negative experiences on here... He clearly sticks to the same modus operandi.

Ibrahim Sheikh is NOT regulated by anyone, as such you do not have any 'protection'. He can and will do what he wants!

I will update this as I have contacted the relevant bodies (and would urge all who he has done this to, to do the same) and will share progress.

Should you be desperate enough to instruct him after reading this, at least pay by debit or credit card at least then you will have some security through your bank... Do not pay by bank transfer as it is considered the same as paying cash!!!

However, if you have any sense at all, stay as far away from Ibrahim Sheikh as you can!

This guy is completely dodgy. A friend that engaged with him was threatened with legal action by him for posting an honest review. DO NOT USE THIS MAN. He falsely alleges to be a member of The Society of Professional McKenzie Friends and The Friends Directory as he claims on his website and official email, recently reported to both organisations who have confirmed his membership has been removed which you can check on their official web sites. The reviews by Rui Oliveira, Bon Fisher and Mohammed on Trust Pilot encompass what my friend experienced. DO NOT PAY THIS MAN A PENNY. He is an unqualified solicitor/barrister claiming he did not complete the final exams and will go against your instructions just to book himself a follow up court date, does not help with bundles and at the 11th hour will get you to do the work. You are better off spending a little bit extra for a genuinely qualified lawyer. This guy is joke, do not engage with him. He gives a good sob story for a complete scam. Walk away! He claims to be some high-flyer that was done over by his ex, don't waste your time listening to his sob story for which he will bill you. Do not share highly sensitive and confidential documents with an unqualified person. It is disgusting people like him are allowed to operate. Also unearthed his limited company, McKenzie McKenzie, is operated by an 'Ibrar Ahmad Sheikh' which raises concerns about this man's genuie identity (Company number 13971471 on the .gov web site). The company accounts are late and has been subject to strike off action. Need I say anymore?

Since Ibrahim was introduced to me by my aunt over a year ago, from my first conversation with him, he completely reassured me in regards to my situation. Ibrahim has been an excellent McKenzie Friend, his work, time and dedication has been very much appreciated. He is a kind, caring and patient man. He has a great passion for his work and he is very calming and listens. It is reassuring to have him and his expertise by my side. Ibrahim helped prepare my documents professionally and was by my side in court to support me. I would certainly highly recommend his services due to high standards and experience. It is a pleasure to know him.
