Up to 40 days to send back a medical information form to my insurer.
It's absurd - this used to take a day or two in my local surgery. It's now outsourced to a faceless service who didn't give me an access code for their online tracking system.
When you call the number on the website they have reduced their hours from what is published, so you can't get through and speak to anyone.
This is the embodiment of how broken our health system is, and this is when I am trying to use my insurance to go private!

This is an amazing company. All members of staff who I communicated with were positive, professional, very efficient, and were very good at communicating with me directly. They communicated with me directly and explained every stage of the process that they were doing, and this made me feel very reassured. They insured that the process was smooth and Completed well and thoroughly. Thank you so much for a brilliant experience.

I am a protection broker and have just found out that it will take 28 WORKING DAYS, yes you read that right, 28 WORKING DAYS, thats more than 5 weeks to get a dedical report to the insurer. This is after they have already received payment. This 28 working days is a target by the way so it could take longer. i have been in the industry for 35 years and have never known a timeframe this long. I really dont understand how they can keep a straight face.

Constantly poor service.
1. 30-45 days to produce a tiny report for my health insurer.
2. I paid for a report & included an invoice number, yet they just allocated the payment to the oldest invoice, which was for a claim that was no longer being pursued.
3. When I brought it to their attention my query was passed from pillar to post as they didn’t know what to do.

Terms and conditions are not acceptable but have no option but agree to them to access records. Then they fail to send the access cide via Text message so you cannot access anything anyway

Medi2Data have cut down my work load by at least half, very good reports, quick turn around times and no complains from any patients so far! Very Useful

Medi2data is great!
it has freed up so much time on everyone behalf- doctors, secretaries and admin. We have had nothing but compliments about the turn around time now at the practice. and if there is any issues, the communications team are very quick to respond to any queries we have.

Firstly the process is opaque, there is little to no information about the progress of your report. Then I was charged, only weeks later to be told they were struggling to generate the report (I had to chase up for this) when the report was finally generated it was wrong and I had to wait many more weeks and chase up myself.
This whole process took over 2 months before it was resolved.
It was only eventually resolved by a wonderful person called Helen who is the only saving grace of this company, who gave me a direct number to her to text and call. If it wasn’t for her I suspect I would still have been waiting for it.
Avoid the company like the plague if possible.

Terrible. No medical report generated 6 months after being requested. No replies to requests for an update and weak, unsatisfactory explanations. This company needs independent investigation for taking money for work they are not completing.
Id give 0 stars if I could. To get a copy of my medical records sent to my life insurance company- medi2data sent them an invoice to them to pay £114 for a copy! My life insurance company paid within 1 working day- after 4 months still no medical records sent due to 'payment not being received' even though we had an invoice number etc from medi2data confirming payment has been accepted! after countless emails being ignored, no one helping on the phone and a generic web chat no one was willing to help- awful company and still no medical records

Absolutely appalling service. 100% understand that a swamped NHS outsource their work, but surely said outsource should complete admin with a fast turnaround & provide a good service. How it is taking over a month to complete 2 A4 pages is incomprehensible and to demand £50 for the privilege!? To then be told by my GP surgery that you haven’t received payment so haven’t completed the report, which was paid on receipt of invoice 3 weeks ago! My insurer has confirmed again this form has not been returned. Calling is a waste of time as the lines are never open. No wonder your reviews are awful. Medi2data are causing unnecessary stress in an already stressful and worrying situation.
Totally agree with the other reviews. Appallingly bad service. No info from the company. Open 4 hours a day Mon-Fri. When you select option to ask for reports update, it says this phone line is not manned any more! The web chat feature is a bot and there isn't a human being answering, with no responses after you've provided the information. If you email them, they don't respond. The turnaround time for reports is 28 days! They won't talk to you before. Sadly, the surgery have picked them. I'll be making a complaint to them as well.

There is absolutely no communication with this company. The request for records take an absolute ages, invoices are incorrect. There are no replies to emails and on the phone they send you off to the online chat. The online chat, if somebody has the access to the internet, is not working. Oh, and the finance team is not available on the phone! Vicious circle! Absolute nightmare. Shocking customer service as they can't help either...why are they there, I have no idea.
I wish there were minus stars. This company were hopelessly incompetent every step of the way and even managed to send my medical history, without my knowledge or permission, to an insurance company with which I have no connection at all.
