Unfortunately
Unfortunately, nothing is right!
I was lured as a patient for a heart transplant, arriving in August 2024 for a preliminary examination, then I was supposed to receive a link where I could see my position for the transplant, the link didn't come, but the call (chat) to arrive after just 6 weeks, supposedly position 7 in the queue.
I flew in November 2024.
There were a few examinations and doctor's appointments (for a fee).
After a long wait, the transplant appointment was not a consultation, so they avoided it, but they would have liked to insert an LVAD.
After I urged the doctors, the first doctor came and said that the operation appointment would certainly take much longer, but I had to arrive quickly.
After that, everything became more and more dubious.
At the end of December, I went to the patient manager and explained that if I wasn't given a time, I would end this here.
He then explained that India is the least suitable country for international patients who want a transplant, the Indian state allocates the transplants to hospitals and Indian patients have priority.
Only when there is no Indian patient waiting would a transplant be given to a foreigner!
Waiting until death occurs, but plenty of preliminary examinations are carried out for which there are costs and this is the real reason.
I can't say anything about other treatments such as surgery, but organ transplantation is almost impossible.
In Thailand too, this is only possible if you are resident.
So if you send them a list of procedures, text on white paper, then the sender insists on company letterhead and a confirmation from the hospital also on company letterhead.
Not the treatment plan from the hospital with the costs, that is just the plan, no, the procedure with appointments.
My medical agent started with Mxxxxxxxx, the consultant started with Vxxxx.
