Service, Value and Products 12/10

I messed up my order twice and both times the service to fix it was fantastic. The staff were extremely helpful and I've ended up with more than I ordered. The products I purchased were top quality. And the response and delivery were very fast. I can't recommend them highly enough. 12/10 for me

Shocking service

Shocking service. They tell you things are shipped and then when you go to track it through shop there is no data as they haven’t shipped it. They are cheap for a reason. If I could rate this company lower I would.

Can not be more disappointed and will never use again! We ordered and waited 4 weeks for the expected delivery of a defib wall cabinet. When still not delivered, kept chasing up for another 2 weeks with no luck. Hard to get a response, and eventually got a refund that took another 10 days to receive. Never use them!

The art of slow business practices

From the call centre based in the Philippines to the order update notifications, everything about this experience has been a struggle. The order processing is extremely slow, and even after paying for courier charges, the transport is taking over two weeks with no end in sight.

In this day and age of efficient tracking, their system just isn't good enough. Do not have any expectations that your goods will arrive on time, or that you will be updated on the progress in a timely fashion.

My advice? Have low expectations and order what you need at least a month prior to when you actually need it. If you do that, you might be happy with the non-existent service they provide. It has been nearly four weeks since I placed my order, and I am still waiting.

Avoid med shop

Avoid med shop. I ordered over a month ago and the items still have not been dispatched. I contacted them and the AI bot tells me that it is out of stock and not due for 6 - 8 weeks. I went to cancel the order and they put me in a live chat. They then inform me that it is in stock but are currently under staffed and the order would be shipped in 2 to 3 weeks. I cancelled my order. Their communication is horrendous and the majority of items not in stock.

AVOID THIS WEBSITE

placed an order almost a month ago. some items say oos, live chat is not helpful and cant give an ETA, can only provide a link that doesnt work. cant seem to get a refund or cancel my order. i need it for uni starting in two weeks time. i would avoid this website. waste of time and money.

Others do it much better, regularly

Unreliable.Botched engraving.

Unreliable.Engraving requested on stethoscope had ‘304’ mysteriously appended to it. Ruined an expensive Christmas present and medshop refuse to take a return as an engraved item. Approach with caution.

Great experience

I’m not sure why this website has such negative reviews, as a customer not seeing this beforehand I had high hopes and my expectations were met. Order came very promptly and I got sent emails of confirmation and updates of the order. I also changed the colour of the stethoscope I got and this was changed before it was sent, using the chat support. Would definitely buy again in future! One thing that would be good which I did is buy tracking that you can see updates, as I believe most people did not get tracking.

Do not order from medshop

Ordered over $200 worth of items. My credit card was charged immediately. I had no update for over two weeks. All the items I ordered were in stock. I sent an email and messaged them on facebook, with no reply.

The AI chatbot is useless, first telling me that all the items were out of stock, then when stated that all items were in stock the chatbot agreed with me and stated it would ship my order. There is no possible way to speak to a live agent despite advertising they have them during business hours. I requested a refund and the chatbot told me the only way to do that was via email, (which, if you remember, medshop was not answering).

I ended up sending an email stating I would do a chargeback if I did not receive my items or a refund. This got a response in hours, clearly they have an alert for the word chargeback.

Reading other reviews, I believe the owners are accepting orders and charging credit cards immediately to have access to the money. They then wait weeks or months, sometimes shipping the order, other times just waiting until the customer requests a refund.

Even if a refund is processed, it is weeks or months after the initial order. Multiplied by thousands of customers, they are making a tidy profit off the interest.

Learn from my mistake, do not order from medshop. If they are ignoring your emails, state you will do a chargeback and you will get a reply within hours.

All round poor experience.

Ordered a product, they sent something else, tried to get a refund and return label, now the communication has stopped. Hopeless customer service, incorrect item sent, all round bad experience. Would not recomment this company. October 2025. PA

Ordered Stethoscope... paid for express delivery

8 days later no further information. Delivery hasn't been shipped.

Used live chat service: notified me that the stethoscope was no longer in stock.

No way to cancel order on website.

I will be requesting my bank to cancel the payment & will report

The absolute worst company to deal with. I ordered a large quantity of new scrubs. They came and they were too small. I have posted the scrubs back as instructed with no updates, I arranged for a call back, no contact from the company. Their emails do not make sense. I was provided with another invoice to purchase the new scrubs from them and then once they receive the old scrubs they may or may not refund me.

DON'T USE MEDSHOP. SCAM

I ordered some essential items 2 weeks ago now. No update, no communication. The live chat is not connected to real people and the chatbot is infuriating. No contact number, and when I did find a number on google it connected to an old man who was in no way related to medshop. If I don't hear from them in the next 24 hours I will need to escalate to Police and Ombudsman.

Order placed 39 days ago, still not shipped as of today!!!

Edit: In Medshop's defence, my (previously) 2-star negative review was followed up on immediately and my order was posted with express mail. Nonetheless, it should not have come to this, and communication requires improvement.

Previous review: I've been ordering from these guys for years now, never had an issue. However, similar to many others, my latest experience is far from ideal. I placed an order for what was listed as items 'in stock'. Two weeks of no communication later, I follow up with them just to be informed that the syringes from my order are on 'backorder' BUT they can ship the swabs I ordered to go with them separately. Of what use are those without syringes!? I followed up several time since with the same answer - almost there, about to be shipped, we'll let you know the tracking number as soon as it is available.

Sadly, I think this was my last order from this mob.

Worst dispatch times

I ordered a simple, standard item — a box of 100 23g hypodermic needles — on Saturday, March 22nd, expecting it to be dispatched within a reasonable timeframe. Instead, it took 5 full business days (or 40 business hours) for my order to even leave their warehouse — finally getting dispatched on Friday, March 28th. By that point, the week was already over, and the delivery is now expected next Monday or Tuesday, which completely defeats the purpose of ordering when I needed it urgently this week.

I tried reaching out to support multiple times, but had to go through 3–5 frustrating attempts because the service reps I got connected to were either AFK or just unresponsive. When I finally got someone, I clearly explained the urgency of the order on Tuesday 25/03 — but nothing was done to expedite it.

This experience has been nothing short of awful. Their dispatch times are painfully slow, their customer support is unreliable, and their sense of urgency is non-existent. I would not recommend Medshop to anyone who needs medical items delivered in a timely fashion. If time matters to you, look elsewhere.
