Do NOT BUY from Metronics!
I ordered a summing cable from Metronics, it was quite expensive at £23. I got a confirmation saying the order has been placed and that’s it. No tracking, no order updates -anything. Suffice to say my cable did not arrive. I tried to contact the seller using their email and support page on Big Cartel and heard nothing back. Luckily for me I bought it using PayPal so when I opened a case with them they were able to contact the seller. Seller then phoned me and was quite rude on the phone, saying I should have contacted him, he’s losing money, he doesn’t place tracking/order updates on “cheap” cables etc. He then told me he would send me another cable with tracking only if I cancel my PayPal case. I was hesitant because this seller seemed shady and once a PayPal case is closed it cannot be opened again but he told me he won’t send me a cable otherwise and I needed it. So I contacted PayPal to close the case and they did while also giving me a refund. I did not intend this and the seller got quite angry at me accusing me of theft and fraud and loss of business as a consequence of dealing with me. He refused to send me a new cable and says he won’t even accept a new order if I ordered again from him because he is £23 down.
Anyways, don’t order from here, awful experience, 0/10.
