Horrific experience with Best Buy and Metro

1) There was an issue getting into my building's elevator and we needed to reschedule the delivery so I could book the elevator. The delivery driver first ran my TV into the doorway of my building and then was extremely rude to my concierge about the mixup. I filed a complaint as the driver was completely out of line.

2) I received confirmation that the delivery would be cancelled TWICE and it was never cancelled. Then I got a third call and confirmed finally that it was cancelled, received the refund, thought all was over until a MONTH LATER!!! I get a call from Best Buy saying that my delivery is coming. I call customer service - they say they fixed the issue. The next day, I get a call that my delivery is up next. I call customer service again. The delivery driver (same one I filed the complaint about) calls me to say he has a delivery. I tell him to not deliver. Who knows what's going to happen next.

If I could give 0 stars I would - after not getting a call for a delivery window and monitoring the Costco website for some kind of delivery time to inform my contractor , they showed up and claimed that the person on site was “not ready” for them, yet I had been in contact with my contractor all day and they had a ramp set up for them . Then the story turned into the ramp was not stable and full of snow - I have pictures of the ramp , it was NOT full of snow. When I called to reschedule , they rescheduled it and hung up on me while I was asking for a phone number to make a complaint . Just because you are being called out on lies , does not give you the right to hang up on a customer . TERRIBLE company

I'd like a "0 stars" option

I'd like a "0 stars" option. A successful delivery by MSC is a miracle. Customer service is non-existent. By that I mean, no phone number, no email, no working chatbot, and an online form that never generates a response. Their couriers continue to call an incorrect number for me despite be contacting them (via the online form) in advance and during the process to make sure they use the correct number. Even so, drivers make no attempt to approach my bulding. They provide photo "proof" of an attempt with a picture of a digital menu for a resident directory FOR A BUILDING THAT ISN'T MINE! I will avoid any companies that use Asendia in Toronto because their last mine courier is Metro Supply Chain.

Terrible Service

When the delivery team arrived, they immediately stated they could not complete the delivery due to a small amount of snow (less than one foot) at the base of the front steps. This was a minor issue that could be cleared in seconds. When I advised I could arrive within 15 minutes to address it, they refused to wait more than 10 minutes.

My real estate agent, who was present, had to locate a shovel and clear the snow herself, which took approximately 30 seconds, while the delivery team stood by and made no effort to assist.

Throughout the interaction, my agent had to repeatedly and politely remind the delivery team that completing the delivery was their responsibility. The team appeared unwilling to proceed unless prompted, rather than making any reasonable effort on their own.

After entering the home, the team then refused to bring the washer and dryer upstairs, stating they would not fit. This is a brand-new home designed specifically for standard appliances. The team did not attempt any reasonable maneuvering (such as adjusting positioning or angling the units) and instead stated it was “too far to carry.”

Overall, this experience reflects a clear failure to complete the contracted delivery service despite safe and reasonable conditions. The team was uncooperative, unwilling to problem-solve, and required repeated prompting to perform basic aspects of their job.

had an excellent experience with Metro Supply Train. From start to finish, the service was top-notch. My TV was handled with great care and arrived safely without any issues. The delivery person was professional, patient, and very respectful of my home, which I truly appreciated. Communication throughout the process was clear and reliable. Overall, a smooth and wonderful delivery experience—I would definitely recommend their service.

0 Stars. Don’t Recommend.

Have never in my life dealt with a courier company worse than this. Was supposed to receive package 3 days ago. And each day it changes (still have yet to have it delivered). Now they are claiming the delivery was cancelled because we wouldn’t be home due to travelling (untrue, not sure where they came up with that poor excuse as we have been staying home to make sure someone was here for the delivery in case we needed to sign for it). Best Buy where we ordered item from is telling us metro is too busy to deliver on time. The two companies continue to point fingers at each other. But won’t actually communicate. They instead just make up lies everytime we reach out to them. $4000 order and no one can tell us when it’s getting delivered. It makes ZERO SENSE that Best Buy would use a courier company that you can’t call or contact easily!?

There’s more accountability and pride from pizza pizza when I order a $20 pizza for delivery.

Don’t ever recommend ordering online from Best Buy or anywhere else that uses metro as their courier. Unless you enjoy being lied to, ignited or not receiving your purchased items.

If I could give a negative 10 review

If I could give a negative 10 review, I would. The driver - specifically someone with the name Surinder - was 3-6 hours late based off of our time window for our washer and dryer (that we have been waiting for for 14 days - a family of 7!). We sat around all day waiting and they didn’t come until 9:10pm. He called from the end of our driveway and was extremely rude right off the get go on the phone. He asked if he could get through (we have a roundabout with a couple lower branches but only on one side). I told him he could, as we have had many big truck deliveries in our yard. He pulled in the wrong way, and YELLED at my husband that I was a liar and he couldn’t get in because of the branches. My husband let him know that he would see how he could drive the truck around to deliver if he had come in the daytime like he was supposed to. My husband said he could just leave the appliances in the yard (even though it is supposed to be white glove delivery). The man proceeded to raise his voice at my husband, and yelled at him “No! I cancelled your delivery!” And backed out of our driveway and left with the appliances. I have NEVER in my life experienced worst customer service. It is almost laughable.

“Arriving in 14 minutes” for 3 hours…

The driver was literally 5 minutes away from my place at one point, then suddenly went all the way to the opposite side of the city.

Now it’s 8 PM and it still says “arriving in 9 minutes” while the driver keeps going further away again or doesn't move.

Super frustrating and the tracking is completely inaccurate.

I was expecting delivery- but no delivery

I was expecting delivery of an IKEA door for our PAX wardrobe- delivery was to be between 9am and 9pm today. I started checking the status early in the day and it showed that my delivery was stop #4 and was "currently performing #4" but this went on ALL DAY. It's now past 9pm and I have no idea whether they will be arriving late or not at all. What is the point of a tracking system that doesn't track. Ridiculous.

Would give zero stars if that were an option.

This was originally a Costco order that included a washer, dryer, and stacking kit. The delivery window provided was 3:40 PM – 6:40 PM, yet the crew arrived at 8:00 PM. While inconvenient, we accepted the delay.

However, the real problems began once they arrived. The stacking kit was missing several screws, and the delivery team informed us the parts would need to be reordered and that another appointment would have to be scheduled once the parts arrived.

One week later, the follow-up appointment took place. The team arrived, dropped off the stacking kit, and immediately left. When we explained that the entire purpose of the appointment was to install the stacking kit and stack the washer and dryer, they said they were too busy to complete the installation and that we would need to schedule yet another appointment for next week.

To make matters worse, they were also supposed to haul away our old washer and dryer, which was part of the original service. That was never done either, leaving us with the old appliances still sitting in place.

What should have been a simple appliance delivery, installation, and haul-away service has now turned into multiple appointments across several weeks, with key parts of the service repeatedly left incomplete.

This level of disorganization and lack of accountability is unacceptable. If you are purchasing appliances through Costco or Best Buy (both of whom use this delivery service), be aware that you may end up dealing with the same frustrating and poorly managed experience.

I would do 0 stars if I could

I would do 0 stars if I could. This was the worst experience I have ever had with any company. The driver was useless and unable to do his job and did not notify me when I got my delivery. Help services were not much help either unable to service me or reimburse me in a proper way. I wasted 5 hours sitting on the floor of an empty apartment waiting for a delivery to arrive just to find out the driver didn’t call or notify me when he arrived and ended up just leaving. When I called the company they were unable to get the delivery to come back even thought I called within my expected delivery time. Now I have been on the phone for over an hour with no help from customer service or the delivery company. Do not recommend and am not sure how this company is still running.

Wow... Charles and Deryack delivery guys were Exceptional!

Wow.... I can't believe the reviews. While it appears that it's overwhelming negative, our laundry machine delivery (Costco purchase) was exceedingly well handled. I was contacted for notification for delivery, for which I easily revised (with the c/s rep, Darryl).
A follow up notice called an hour before delivery, but showed up 2+hours later. Not a big issue as I was preparing for the install. The delivery guys Charles and Deryack were great... well organized, prepared for removal and replacement while using protective mats to protect the appliance and installed the new unit in a prompt time w no issues, no drips, no damage, maintaining a clean install w an excellent customer service courtesy and respecting our home. Charles was especially helpful w added advice on the machine use, warranty and overall setup.... great guy!! Costco is always a great buy, this delivery service was excellent!! Thanks Metro Supply Chain.

Poor service and poor tracking

If there is a negative rating . metro supply chain shall be given -100. My package is sitting with last mile driver since Feb 23rd. Probably driver has opened the box and enjoying what is inside the delivery box. It is a shame that there is no contact details or support portal for rasing such issues.

The delivery people are unable to use buzzer systems

The delivery people are unable to use a simple buzzer system or read the instructions in the address. Continuous “failed” delivery email with absolutely no attempt made to get past the lobby door even though the instructions say what to do , it even has a directory system so you can manually search for the name.

Would provide a rating of zero if possible. The first attempt of deliver resulted in significant damage to our new appliance, which had to be returned and delayed our renovations. During the second attempt, the driver entered our neighbour's driveway and took down a cable line connected to our house, which ripped off a large section of the siding on our house. The claims and resolution team was very unhelpful and placed all the blame on us and would not come to any sort of common ground on helping to pay for repairs for damage their drivers caused.

Great service!

We had a fridge delivered. I believe one of the guys name was Gill. They were respectful and did a great job hauling away our old fridge and delivering our new one.
They let us keep the box. Our kids are very excited making a fort!
